Kashyyyk - Living Story
Description
This story arc on Kashyyyk will be an extensive tale of various missions amongst multiple factions, in open "Living Story" that will evolve and change based on player actions and galactic events. The missions listed below may change throughout the story arc as a result and are not hard set. The best way to influence the overall story and/or individual missions is by coordinating with your respective faction members, and even with opposing characters. In the end, our heroes and villians will determine the ultimate fate of Kashyyyk.

The Story Thus Far........
It has been a year since the First Battle of Kashyyyk, where the CIS claimed a hard-fought victory over the Galactic Republic. Neither side has been idle and much as transpired in a year's time.
The Republic never fully retreated from Kashyyyk, and in the last year, the elite fighting force of the Phoenix Legion has ran the planetary blockade to delivery troopers and commandos to keep the flame of liberty alive within the Wookie nations. Thus, the Wookies and their allies maintain a strong base of power in the Highlands and dense Wroshyr forests. Their main power base is the ancestral capital, Rwookrrorro.
The CIS has been overthrown from weak political rule to rise as the Sith Confederacy. In the past year, the Sith have been making the most of their victory with trying to pull every kilo of resources available off Kashyyyk to finance their war fleet. Everything from refined starship fuel to advanced electronics to Wookie "free-labor" workers. They have also employed the Trandoshans of the Blackscale Clan to expedite the Wookie slavery operations. Their primary base of operations is in the captured refinery city of Kachirho and the primary spaceport, Thikkiiana.
However, all this turned south when the reigning lord, Darth Validus, decreed that slavery was no longer permitted on Kashyyyk. Further, to fully punish the rebellious Wookies and meddling Jedi, he ordered the primary oil refineries of Kachirho to pump out all their fuel into the bay and root tunnels dug under the great Wroshyr trees of the city and set the fuel ablaze!! Now, an insidious inferno rages throughout the city and into the surrounding forest threatening to consume all in its path!
Story Arcs (Missions)
Darkness Amongst the Trees
- Status: ACTIVE
-Opening and persistent generic thread. Main purpose is conflict between NR & Sith Confed, and plot updates.
-Phoenix Legion and Wookie allies beginning Operation Shadowlands to resume open conflict against the Sith occupation
Trapped by Fire
- Status: ACTIVE
- dual faction missions
- Sith attempting to keep fire spreading towards wookie villages and prison camp, ambush
- NR attempt to save Wookies in camp, fight off Sith Forces and Trandoshan Blackscales
-midway thru conflict, Trandoshans will finally get message from leader that the Sith have betrayed them and to "killz all Sssssith"
Requesting Aid

-takes place off world, 1st an emergency petition to the Senate, which may fail or take too long

-Darth Validus may have "ended" the practice of slavery, but that does not mean all his forces obeyed, especially the hired Blackscale Clan
-Blackscales continue slaving with multiple operation bases
-Jedi and NR can engage bases to free allies
-Blackscale Clan looking for new "business" partners.
