Appearance: Ahzek is a relatively standard Tongath, he has the notable tubes and eye lenses (which are cybernetic enhancements), Tan skin.Personality traits
[+] Numb to the Pain - A trait of the Tongath species is their species native resistance to pain and thus Ahzek, like the rest of his species, is far more tolerant of pain and suffering.
[+] Blessed by the Dark Side - While not necessarily gifted in the usage of a lightsaber, he retains a potent and powerful connection to the Force.
[+/-] Knowledge is Power, Guard it Well - Ahzek is obssessed with the collection of knowledge, and information regarding the Sith, event to a fault. Ahzek, while not opposed to cooperating with fellow Sith regarding the acquisition of knowledge and the like, is not opposed to removing them should it prove to be useful to Ahzek and he is kept from it.
[-] They matter little to me - Ahzek's upbringing was not positive, his Sith Master was a violent, sadistic torturer who tortured Ahzek and that cruelty has carried over. Ahzek cares little for those who do not rank in his mind, as important or beneficial. Wanton murder of subordinates or those who do not do his bidding, are routinely punished.
History:
Ahzek Targost was sold into slavery following his capture as a youth aboard a trading vessel operated by a trading company on Yar Tonga, captured by pirates he was sold to a wealthy Malreaux family on Vjun. Ahzek became a house servant for the Malreaux family, it was there that he had become acquainted with a human force user Daymont Auter, a member of the Mecrosa Order, and a personal bodyguard for the House Mecetti. House Mecetti had relations with the Malreaux family. Auter attempted to mentor Targost, believing him to be a capable resource in spying on the Malreaux family and ensuring that he kept tabs on the family and the Mecetti influence on the family.
In 29 BBY following a series of events, the Malreaux family went crazy from "unknown influences", those influences being the Dark Side of the Force, and almost the entire family and a large part of the Vjun population experienced a genocide. The handful of survivors of the Malreaux famiy fled the planet, one of them being dispatched to the Jedi Order as a means to "save the family". Auter, now fully enthralled in the Dark Side, continued to mentor Ahzek in the Mecrosa Order, which had been a Sith Cult and protector organization of the House Mecetti. Ahzek was unusual in that he was both male and an alien, whereas the Mecrosa Order largely relied on female humans to do thier bidding.
Auter, an adept at utilizing the Force for illusion purposes, imparted his wisdom to Ahzek. Auter, while not a "bad" master, was a cruel master. Auter would regularly torment and torture Ahzek with visions and painful memories of being ripped from his fellow traders. Ahzek remained on Vjun largely, utilizing his influence to expand House Mecetti influence on the planet as well as securing business opportunities for the Mecrosa Order. Shortly before the outbreak of the "Clone Wars", the former Cheatau of the Malreaux family was selected by Count Dooku of Serreno as an interest and the Count "purchased" the home, developing ties to the planet.
Auter, aware of the growing discontent in the Galactic Republic and whispers of a "Confederacy of Independent Systems", asked Ahzek to once again become a servant; which he did for his "Master". Despite Ahzek's training in masking the Force, he was swiftly discovered by Count Dooku and spent several weeks as a prisoner of the Count while it was determined what to do with him. Count Dooku eventually brought Ahzek to Jabiim where he had begun a training program for the so-called "Dark Acolytes", it was here that he broke with his former Master and began studying the Dark Side independently. Ahzek discovered that he was relatively well attuned to the Force and his training in manipulation and coercion in the Dark Side worked well, he was dispatched as a attache several times on "trading" missions with different corporate partners of the Confederacy.
It was here, through his travels, that Ahzek became knowledge obessed and utilized his free time to begin delving into the studies of the Dark Side of the Force. Ahzek's first encounter was with a Dark Side mystic on the planet of Dantooine; Ahzek, lured there through rumors of a powerful Force mystic who had been studying the ruins on Dantooine. Ahzek scowered the planet, finding the mystic on and island with ruins empowered by the Dark Side, he battled the Dark Side mystic and with a stroke of his lightsaber, impaled the mystic. Ahzek, enraged that he had sqaundered his chance at knowledge, held the Dark Side mystic in his arms enraged that he had let this knowledge be lost. It was in this rage that Ahzek discovered that he began to see the humans thoughts and visions, though cloudy, Ahzek focused his attention and was able to glean the information he had so desperately sought. It was here that Ahzek developed a hunger for knowledge, not to consume life, but to consume knowledge.
Ahzek delved into what little remained of the Sith culture, information and began learning of Sith Lords of old: Ajunta Pall, Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow, and more. While Azhek pursued his own studies, the Clone Wars progressed and he was increasingly called to the so-called "Front Lines" where the Dark Acolytes fought time and time again against the Galactic Republic and their "Grand Army of the Republic". Ahzek became involved in the variety of intelligence networks within the Confederacy as he was able to utilize his skills to drain the knowledge or glean future plans from the captured Republic officers, even some of the Clone Troopers.
Ahzek was one of the first converts to the cause of the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Validus and proclaimed himself to be a Sith Lord, taking a "Darth" title known as "Darth Ignis". In addition, as the various cults began to spring up Ahzek, who had become interested in the ancient Dark Lord, Marka Ragnos, pronounced himself as the Magister Sepucri or "Master of the Tomb" in High Galactic of the Magi of Ragnos, seeking to learn all they could about Marka Ragnos, the ancient Sith and the potent secrets of Sith Magick and Sith Alchemy.
