Plot Submission - For the Throne​

Location - Alderaan
Players - Open to All, primarily Imperial and Republic

Objective - Influence the Organas and/or great houses to remain with the Republic or side with the Empire.


Phase 1 - Making a Reputation
Multiple threads of players interacting with NPCs on Alderaan to earn favor and gain influence

Phase 2 - Audience with the Queen
A single thread for a great banquet with the great houses and Queen Organa

Phase 3 - Clash of Swords
A single thread of a conflict between two minor houses in which players can take sides to earn favor

Phase 4 - Heavy Lies the Crown
Players use actions/outcomes from previous threads to sway Alderaan’s allegiance. This will be decided by player actions in all phases and is open ended!!

I’ll lead the Imperials here, I’ll bring Aeaolen and perhaps another Imperial character.

Rework has a darkside Imperial politician from Alderaan, a member of House Panteer if memory serves correctly. He will be a valueable asset to the Imperial cause.

As for as plot lines go, I figure it would be among the great houses that most players will have posts or attempt to interact with. A quick list:

House Organa
- Republic aligned
- Current ruling house under Queen Breha
- Focus on minor military, heavy diplomacy and trade with flourishing arts.
- Rivals of House Thul and Ulgo

House Thrane
- Republic aligned
- Heavily Militarily focused
- Minor house in service to the Organa family
- Dislikes House Thul

House Valorous
- Republic aligned
- Minor diplomatic/industrious house
- Close ties to Organa and Thrane

House Thul
- Imperial aligned
- Historically supported past Imperial regimes
- Militarily focused
- Has rivalry with Organa and Thrane
- Never has been able to claim the throne

House Panteer
- Imperial aligned, in mindset of strength
- former rulers of Alderaan in the Old Republic
- Dethroned by House Ulgo in a bloody coup which nearly wiped out the entire family
- Rivalry with Ulgo
- Dislikes Thul and Organa

House Rist
- Neutral
- Known for espionage, diplomacy, and assassins
- Often changes sides in conflicts, more out of opinion than credits
- Had a dislike of Panteer due to past arguments

House Ulgo
- Neutral
- Ruled Alderaan after violently dethroning the Panteer Family
- Trade and Military focused
- Was removed from power from ironically combined efforts of Houses Organa and Thul
- Rivalry with Organa, Thul, and Panteer.

House Teral
- Neutral
- Merchant/Trade focused
- Dislikes any interruption to planet peace and stability
- Close ally of House Panteer
- Dislikes House Ulgo

House Cortes
- Neutral
- Minor house to the Thul Family
- After years of set-backs, attempting to expand trade/merchant fleet
- In constant conflict with the Kilick hives

House Alde
- Neutral
- Old king lineage on Alderaan, now a minor house
- Loyal to the Organa's
- Dislikes House Thul and Ulgo
- Keepers of the Great Library and Elysium ancient site
