CPT Okera Vekra
Letting off Steam - Point Delta, Bothan space
The blade sang as it cut through the air, making contact with another and moving away quickly back into guard. The droid moved with precise mechanical movements as it moved around the confines of the arena, thousands of calculations processing in barely a second trying to beat its opponent. Moving to block and parry a blow before leading in with a counter and lunging down. The opponent, however, spun out from the blow rather than leaving themselves open for the counter, and the curved blade came down on the droid's head. It returned to neutral.
Okera growled and moved away, flicking her blade in frustration.
"Increase the difficulty and go again" Taking a stance on her side of the arena
"That is restricted to Jedi"
"Override and go again" She didn't care at this point for getting hurt, they wanted a challenge, wanted to be exhausted, but most of all Okera wanted to be better. Perhaps wisely, her troopers knew better than to try, of course, she never meant to hurt them but they were all trained to hit hard. So her the togruta was having to fight against this stupid droid. Regardless of how hard she hit it, she couldn't hurt it, if she did well they knew how to fix it. So again the droid moved forward, swinging again as she blocked and moved, dancing around each other with a single misstep being the end of the dance. Over and over again she had been doing this dance, trying to get the droid to beat her, the former commando droid should be able to do it but someone had turned it down. It felt like hunting tame cubs.
Her kukri sang again as it moved through the air, a change in pitch as it met the sword. Boot slamming into the droid's chest and she roared in anger, at herself, at the universe, at the droid. Another kill, but she was tired of this droid, even if it was helping her mood. Goddess, she wished she could convince one of the crew managers to allow her to space walk.
