One day, Threyan decided to go to the library to study some of the Jedi's history, but instead got a shocking surprise. A whole row of Holocrons were missing, but the thief had foolishly left behind a piece of cloth...

Master Myn Tainer roamed the halls of the Jedi temple, searching for his padawan. He sensed the young man in the library, and an aura of concern emanated from him that put Myn's senses on high alert. He quickened his pace, pushing past a group of younglings that had tottered out of their classroom and into the massive tree-lined corridor. Their confused chattering faded into the distance as Myn made a beeline for the archives.

Upon arrival, Myn found Threyan staring open-mouthed at a row of missing holocrons. Myn quickly noticed they were mostly insignificant bits of information outlining various firsthand accounts of historical battles, but a few dealt with combat techniques that could be dangerous if they fell into the wrong hands.

"Threyan, where are the holocrons? Did you see who took them? Does Tylara have them?," he asked, referencing the elderly Jedi librarian.

"No master." Threyan replied in a worried voice, " I asked Master Tylara where I could find Holocrons on form Vll, and she said this is where I would find them, but when I got here, they were gone!"

Threyan then reached into his pocket and pulled out a piece cloth, saying, " This was caught on a corner however, I think it belongs to the thief. What do you think Master Myn?"

Myn took the cloth out of his hand and examined it. It was a different material than your average Jedi garb, seemingly more geared toward stealth.

"Could be, Padawan, could be. Bring this to the analysis droid, maybe they can tell us something. I will go speak to the Council. Once you're done with the droid, ask Master Tylara for the holorecordings."

Myn handed the cloth back to Threyan and took off at a brisk pace towards the Council's chambers.

As Threyan waited for the analysis to finish, he let his mind drift, and let the force guide his thoughts... A loud beeping snapped Threyan out of his trance, telling him that the analysis was done. As Threyan looked over the report, he noticed that the fabric was some sort of stealth garb. Then Threyan saw that a fingerprint had been found. Without waiting to see who it belonged to, Threyan started running towards the council chambers.
