The morning sun peeked through the open window of a long abandoned temple on Dathomir. The sun streamed down towards a meditating young chiss in the middle of the room. Surrounding him was darkness in the form the insectoid creatures known to the galaxy as Xenomorphs. Some of these creatures rested; others wrestled and trained for their next battle. The room smelled like a chemical lab mixed with the smell of whipped up or soiled sand. The shattered walls of the temple cracked even more so when the Xenomorphs crashed into them. The temple itself trembled every once in awhile when their master was angry with them.

Vinctus thought to himself, "Three hours of meditation, and my children cannot stand to wait any longer. They must learn to wait, to let their hunger to drive them to be more aggressive, and therefore more lethal." He raised his hand up when they started to act up, and they came to attention. The tension in the room drew to a halt any time their Lord willed it. Vinctus reveled in the power, lusting for more power. The Sith Lord then continued his training, thinking of how he could conquer the galaxy with his army. Once again, the pleasure was all in his thoughts. During all of this, his creatures grew more restless. They started getting loud.

Eventually they annoyed Vinctus enough to where he stood up. All of the Xenomorphs bowed before their master. "Like the dogs you are," Thought Vinctus, "I will feed you your next meal." They let out screeches, which in his memory described happiness, as they sprinted out of the temple. Like spiders out of the egg, they escaped the temple through every crevice. Vinctus smiled as he followed behind his army on a speeder, taken as a token of the first massacre. On the way to the next village, he thought of how many settlements had been destroyed.

"One, two, ten..." he chortled to himself as they were lead to the next settlement. Vinctus laughed at the idea of the impregnation of the entire village. All he had to do from that point was have the creatures feast upon the corpses of the fallen, and the new children would follow their father, as all of them had done before. They set up their encampment on the far west of the town. Then he sent in the "face-huggers" to do their job. The screams heard in the air that night signified all he needed to happen.

Two days later, he stood on the outskirts of Kalahari, the settlement he had chosen for the next breeding grounds. Dead bodies littered the streets of the town, with split open bellies, it had looked as if they had all be mutilated. His soldiers enjoying their feast of the remaining alive and the rotting corpses, as the new creatures attache to older ones. He lead them back to their temple, and they were satisfied. He then led himself to his original spot, and continued to meditate on the force. He felt a disturbance, as if someone was trying to find him. He welcomed the thought, and waited for the presence to reveal itself. He put many of the soldiers on protection duty as he waited for the threat to arrive.

Now why was the Dark Lord stalking through the jungles and swamp-lands of Dathomir. It was about time for Kali to find an apprentice and he's always been fond of strong allies with unique abilities like the ones claimed by the Nightsisters. In eons and centuries past; it has not been unusual for the Sith and the dark aligned witch clans to form a truce if not an out-right alliance. What the dark lord had found instead was devastation and death as well as signs of things that Kali has never end heard of before. Of course, the Dark Lord rarely traveled alone these days after the major battle on Mandalore which almost cost his life. Accompanying him was two gifted knights of the order as he could risk no masters from the temple teaching or the ones sent out on missions. Besides, two of his gifted soldiers should be enough for some powerful yet backwater witches.

Upon, making his way through Kalahari a city once known to a select few as a place where one could find some promising prospects. Kali discovered this after looking through an old and weak holocron made by Darth Maul who despite never rising to Dark Lord was a powerful dark master in his own regards. He mentioned finding kin and a worthy apprentice that he failed to properly train on this world. The darkness he felt through out the force threatened to cloud ones perceptions of anything else but Kali's eyes were gifted by the force. Underneath the wreckage of a deli which housed an apartment in it's basement held a dead zone in the force. Kali figured someone of relatively decent training must have hidden from whatever attackers by hiding from sight and the force.

This would mean either there was another powerful dark sided leader on this planet or these beings were weaker than history gave them credit for. Regardless, with his curiosity piqued; Kali decided to search for this being through all the wreckage. Lifting away building material and steel with the force was a breeze and hardly an exertion for the Dark Lord but he wasn't prepared for the shock he'd receive. Underneath, all the wreckage and carnage laid no Jedi, Sith or Witch but a little girl less than six years old who somehow instinctively not only accessed the force but withdrew her presence from it completely. This girl was highly gifted to the point Kali made the decision rather easily that she'd grow to be his apprentice and eventual successor.

The Sith Knight to his left named Solomon Ordonno was called with a hand signal over towards the wreckage. Kali lifted the baby with the force into his own arms finally being able to feel her untapped force potential before handing her over to Solomon before ordering. "Go to the ship and have one of my caretakers tend to this young one carefully. If one hair on her head is disturbed. . . both of you will pay dearly." And with those carefully chosen word; Kali decided it was time to find out who was causing all this destruction. Opening himself up completely to the force allowed Kali a much better sense of clarity as he mentally cataloged all the presences he felt while projecting his own aura. Within a short fashion, his summon was answered by another dark and powerful presence who made himself visible within the force.

Taking two land speeders as Kali and his other bodyguard Sapphire took off towards the presence.

"Here I come." He muttered to himself before being brought to what looked like an abandoned temple. But Kali knew better thanks to the presence he felt but what's more is that he felt many different presences that fooled his sense. Kali had never came across Xenomorphs before today and they felt truly weird within the force. Standing in the main courtyard as he awaited his hosts arrival and presumably his arriving forces as well.

"It seems I have visitors." Vinctus thought to himself as he waved over one of his warriors and stood up. The creature, like a tamed dog, came to attention right at his master's side. Vinctus laughed at thought of his warrior acting like such a mongrul. He walked outside, covered in his cloak and not revealing his face, as his warrior acted as a body guard for the Sith Lord. Vinctus looked out into his court yard to see two people: One seemly young Sith Knight and one incredibly powerful dark-sider. Suprised to see someone of his caliber, Vinctus walked down towards him, the warrior following behind. Slowly keeping beast trick in his mi d as he walked, Vinctus pulled back his hood.

"Greetings." Vinctus said before he scruffed his brow. HE looked at the two of them, and the stronger one seemed familiar to him. "Excuse me, but have we met before?"

Kali watched through the force as the dark side grew stronger in response to the two powerful force presences in one area. His face while normally masked and concealed was now revealed as his mask was more for a fear effect than to conceal his presence. After all, why would the Dark Lord and future Emperor of the Galaxy be afraid to show a mere mortal his face. Sith practiced cunning and deception to the point of art; but Kali was one for subtle nuances as well. Watching the warrior who accompanied him; though the man's spirit seemed crushed considering his reliance on Vinctus but Kali couldn't tell whether that meant he'd be a match for his own warrior. Their powers were too close for anyone but an all knowing deity to know the outcome. Furthermore, Kali was sure he'd have to expend too much energy and expose too many of his talents by facing this man. Besides, whose to say a meeting between Sith couldn't be civil? Even if they were supporting differing sides of the Sith Ideology.

Until Vinctus mentioned it; the fact that his aura felt familiar had eluded Kali's notice. His questions of whether they knew each other caused Kali not only to think but to hone his senses. "Yes, you're presence does feel familiar. You've gotten stronger since our last meet or perhaps you were always hiding your true power. Regardless, I thank you for the welcome. . . I assume that massacre I seen earlier is your staking claim to this planet?" It mattered little to Kali as he still managed to find his successor.

Vinctus reveled in the fact that he taken down the village, and was slowly taking the planet for himself. However, he needed to stay calm as he normally did. He stated, "Most of what I have done is to create something much bigger than myself." He signaled to his warrior; a young xenomorph who probably had his first massacre the other day, and said. "My soldiers were hungry, and if I had not massacred the village, the entire planet would have been consumed by my soldiers here. They have slowly been growing stronger through their feedings."

He looked back at the man who questioned him, and said, "All I did was create order on a planet that lacked it. If that mean I staked a claim on this planet of immense entropy, then I guess I did."

He then questioned, "Why are you here? I don't usually greet guests, but you seem to be powerful in the force, as I am. Let us continue our conversation out here, as my soldiers usually don't like guests. Last time we had a guest they ate his bones."
