Galactic Mission Datapad

Overview

The Galactic Mission Datapad is meant for players to take up missions either by themselves or with a group of fellow writers without prompting from the Community Team. The Galactic Mission Datapad will be regularly updated when missions are taken. We advise writers only take 1 mission at a time with a character as they do have some parameters on them.

If you are interested in taking a mission please post in the Member's Corner with the prefix "Plot Proposal" and lay out the proposal for your mission, whose included and the Community Team will provide information, assign the mission, etc. Missions listed underneath specific factions are designed for members within those specific factions to do. Those listed underneath the Bounty Hunters' Guild are fair game for all writers.

Difficulty levels

  • Easy - Missions assigned this difficulty are considered to be relatively simple to complete. The Community Team requires a minimum of 8 posts per participating member prior to consider the mission complete. You are unlikely to face serious challenges on this mission and depending on the description of the mission it will likely be very straight forward (e.g. snatch and grab, eliminate, collect, defend, etc.)
  • Moderate - Missions assigned this difficulty are considered to be somewhat difficult to complete and might require more complex means to successfully complete the mission. The Community Team requires a minimum of 12 posts total prior to consider the mission complete. The completion of this mission will likely see the writer(s) take on a small to moderate group of enemies that range from well equipped to a rag-tag band of pirates and might require multiple mission steps or surprises. It is advised that you bring a friend or two along with you.
  • Difficult - Missions assigned this difficulty are considered to be very difficult to complete and require impressive feats of strength, finesse or a combination of both to successfully complete. The Community Team requires a minimum of 20 posts total prior to considering the mission complete. The completion of these missions will be difficult for the writer(s) and are recommended to be taken on in groups as you will be facing either large groups of enemies or well trained enemies that are capable of fighting you and your party off.

Bounty Hunters' Guild
OOC Information

BountyHuntersCreed-SWI99.jpg

The Bounty Hunters' Guild (BHG) also known as the Bondsman's Guild is a galactic institution dedicated to regulating the profession of bounty-hunting. Contracts put forth to the BHG were considered to be "legal" and the BHG worked alongside galactic governments and oversaw bounties related to bounty-hunting. The BHG officially maintained a code that the hunters were mandated to stand by. Galactic governments will often put bounties on the heads of people who have officially done something wrong in addition to their own bounties placed internally.

Galactic Empire

Galactic Empire.png

Bounties issued by the Galactic Empire are done through a variety of agencies, however they are often issued through the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB), the Imperial Intelligence Agency (IIA/II) or the Imperial Department of Justice's Office of Criminal Investigations which manage and oversee Imperial Peace-Keeping Certificates (IPKC). Members of the various branches of the Empire are sometimes assigned these duties in place of outside members.
