Everything sat in Sebastian's belly in such a way that he somehow managed to feel it along the back of his skull as well as his feet. Feeling sick to his stomach and fighting the urge to hurl. The man also felt as if his feet would weigh him down through the very floor of the ship while the pressure in his head made it seem like he'd be sucked through one of the air vents on the ceiling he passed by every now and then. But, his face was tight and his eyes were nigh narrowed so that Sebastian might express a notable measurement of intensity, while on the inside he was an anxiety, stressed, and depressed mess. Still though he rode a high unlike any other he had achieved thus far in his lifetime, after all defeating the likes of General Grievous in true one on one combat was nothing to just glance over.
And with that victory came so much more which not only included power, but...a burden. On his shoulders now was an entire faction, a chunk of the galaxy was loyal to him and his new....
SITH CONFEDERACY!
Constantly reminding himself of his growing skill, power, etc. along with his achievements the new Dark Lord of The Sith did his very best [as he always did] to stave off these negative feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression. Focusing on looking tough or pissed off helped in that it gave him a primary goal at all times at least when around his fellow Sith loyalists. And already some of these most loyal followers were out sowing his seeds, since the very defeat of Grievous actually from starting takeovers of "key" planets or assassinating former Confederate council members like Shu Mai. With his mind full and frantic like the inside of a wasp nest Sebastian too had to focus on his stride down the brightly lit metal hallway he was making his way through. Rounding a corner and keeping a calm pace, not too fast nor too slow, he nonetheless put power behind each of his movements to further express his...power. As he'd round another corner though an all too familiar sensation along his left arm would steal his focus and in an instant his gaze would fall upon a light blue glowing figure.
" Today is your day Sebastian Ivar Kade, the true Dark Lord! But, more importantly it is the Sith's day! Our return, our rebirthing into the galaxy!

This incident will go down in the history logs as unprecedented! "
Though Sebastian didn't pause in his step the man obviously gave his Sith Mentor his due notice, even nodding in acceptance of the deceased's claim. Despite this the Dark Lord would remain silent, letting Ludo continue to...ramble or so he felt as such, while Ludo had much to offer and teach Sebastian the latter could not deny the former's ill intent. Until they got closer or Sebastian felt as if he could actually trust Ludo beyond being a teacher and student relationship, he'd have to careful least he lose the benefits of the Sith Amulet altogether. Perhaps one day Sebastian might prove capable of wrestling control of the Amulet from Ludo's spirit, taking the power for himself. Or perhaps one day they might find kinship and equal ground where they could agree that the galaxy at large needed an iron fist to rule it, to keep it safe. But, Sebastian was no violent tyrant and he had standards, lines not to be crossed.
Yet, now the man indeed had the burden of the Sith Confederacy along his shoulders/back and was not what was best for the people not best for him?
By time Sebastian snapped back into focusing on reality the man would realize he was stepping through hissing doors as they opened up to reveal a third story platform along the wall of a massive hangar bay. Along the platform and near the railing would be various guards, from specialized droids, to Sebastian's most trusted Acolyte brethren and as the Dark Lord stepped out the view of everyone else would grace him. The hangar was huge, but it was nearly packed tight with vast numbers of soldiers both droids and organics as well as various officials and the like. Anyone who was important in the CIS was there along with anyone who was anyone and had managed to worm their way into the event for Sebastian had open arms for his people. Finally coming to a halt and resting his hands along the railing, tightening his leather bound fists around the metal bar so fiercely that it'd audibly irritate his gloves. Along the platform near Sebastian would be small audio receptors and amplifiers while elsewhere there would be speakers all set up for the Dark Lord's speech something the man felt like he wasn't set up for in the first place...But, he had to be. And if he didn't do it now then he never would.
" You're all here for one reason....The Confederacy of Independent Systems has fallen, it's former leaders or council members either with us or they are no longer with us, one way or another.
The galaxy is a storm right now, chaotic and messy...But, the Confederacy lives on and will seek to be the eye of this storm, the calm that rules all for the betterment of all! Surely, you have all heard the news of Sheev Palpatine being a secret Sith Lord, a Dark Lord of The Sith even. This has brought things to light such as the likes of our own Count Dooku, secretly Darth Tyrannus, being his Apprentice. Yet, while the latter was indeed a true Sith, Palpatine was no Dark Lord nor a true Sith, merely a pretender.

It is I, Sebastian Ivar Kade....Darth Validus who stands before you this day as a true Sith....The Dark Lord of The Sith CONFEDERACY!
The Sith Confederacy shall lead the entire galaxy into a new Golden Age of The Sith where all will prosper beneath a benevolent guiding hand....MY hand.
And with the Confederacy living on through the Sith many things shall remain the same, the Separatist Council will be folded into a newer Dark Council. Similar subgroups face similar fates, but what is to take priority will be stepping away from our reliance and abuse of non-organic beings. The droids of the Sith Confederacy are to be considered equals to any organic, we are Brothers and Sisters in arms for a cause, the true cause! We shall bolster our forces with pools of organic individuals while offering non-organics various new roles outside of combat roles as well. This has already started thanks to the aid of General Grievous whom aided the Kaleesh on Kalee affording us new soldiers right away!
It is together that the Sith Confederacy shall reign supreme! "

So much had changed in the Confederacy. So much had changed in the Republic. But they both still existed and fought. A side had to be chosen, and he would stick to it. He had done his best to get into where he was now, keeping up with the politics was still a challenge for him but it was necessary. Especially with his preferred methods. And this, this was a very important event.

Dooku, a Sith, the Chancellor, a Sith even if they said only in name. And here now, Darth Validus. Karo's resolve did not waver, though the thought of being Sith...hurt. But it was too late for that, he would stick through. Whatever tales of their past only mattered as much as they made them matter. Just as with the Jedi and their failure to those planets in the Confederacy superseded their history.

Strangely, that didn't even surprise him. After all that had happened and already how much the Dark Side had been made prevalent to their force users the Sith seemed such a small step. But then there was the matter of droids. He furrowed his brow. So they are brethren now? After all their time and use, all the reliance on them to maintain a footing in the war? he thought to himself. This would change a lot, he wasn't so sure that it was the best tactical decision but it wasn't his to make regardless. He held his breath, watching to see the reactions of the others.

So now what? We're a Sith Confederacy, and we've put droids as equals. Where does this lead? It may not change my work, unless the lack of droids means there needs to be more soldiers and less sabotage and subterfuge. His internal considerations would continue.

Ravager Squadron had arrived in orbit several hours earlier and at the helm was the Executor, the flagship of Commander Remus Kelbor. Remus had done his duty and followed the orders of the soon-to-be leader of the Confederacy, should it remain that, Sebastian Ivar Kade. Remus had been informed of a variety of different things, mostly owing to his position as "Commander" within the Confederacy. In orbit above the planet were a number of other vessels, the new Dark Lord of the Sith's included. Captain Forgen Zrunob, the Neimodian Captain of the Greed, a Munificient-class Command, Control, and Communications Frigate had served as his Executive Officer for a large part of his duties and he signaled for a secure channel to be opened up to Captain Zrunob. "Yes Commander." The heavily accented voice came over the holoprojector. "Captain. Keep the fleet anchored here and I want you to be prepared for anything." Remus didn't expect trouble but he always prepared for it.

Commander Remus Kelbor was the the de facto leader of the Confederacy's military efforts since his ascension sometime prior. The Commander was greeted by various officials and military officers when his shuttle departed the Executor and arrived at the landing pad. He shook hands with several members of the Confederacy and saluted a dozen more. As Remus entered into the hanger where the Dark Lord would make his announcement he was questioned about the "rumors". There had been rumors that Remus would be granted a new "title and rank", something akin to Warmaster and would be ultimately placed in charge of the Confederacy's military efforts somewhat replacing General Grevious who would likely still serve the Dark Lord in some way.

Remus stood at the head of a number of Confederacy military officers, all of them mirroring Remus' attentive stance.

Departing hyperspace with an influx of bount kinetic energy dispersed into the void of space and making their presence known was none other than the naval formation currently lead by Lord Admiral Marcus Aurellius; consisting of his command ship - the Recusant-Class Star Destroyer 'Knife of Darkness' - as well as three munificent-class frigates one of which being of the command, control, and communications variant, and a single DH-Omni Support Vessel. The group was small at current but that had been due to having lost two light destroyers and having not had the time to replace the vessels thanks to the pacing of the war. Regardless, the five vessels cruised inwards from the edge of the system until reaching the rendezvous point as assigned by the leadership of the Confederacy. At the helm of the 'Knife of Darkness', the Lord Admiral relayed orders to his executive officer in a deep baritone of galactic basic. "Prepare my shuttle, and order the squadron to remain at these co-ordinates. I want the squadron to be prepared to move out immediately should be needed. You have the helm."

With his orders pressed into immediate command thanks to his excellent command staff, the Lord Admiral stepped down from the captaincy of the 'Knife of Darkness' and smoothly to his ready room where the Lord Admiral prepared his finest dress whites of the Confederacy Office of Naval Command. Afterwards, offering a smart salute to the bridge crew and then stepping down to the repulsortlift carrying down into Hangar Deck One. Marcus assumed his seat within the co-pilot's chair of the shuttle - the man had a much more direct approach to command than merely delegating every responsibility to his command team. The shuttle quickly took from the hangar of the Knife of Darkness, the shuttle pilot exchanging codes and queries with the landing pad crew before finally coming to rest upon the pad.

Lord Admiral Marcus Aurelius arrived upon the procession, standing to a full height of six feet and six inches tall with a dominating muscular physique and would come to stand just behind that of the Executive Commander Kelbor himself. Marcus had known of Remus Kelbor and had served within the same theaters as the man and yet the two hadn't until now truly met. Yet, the Lord Admiral brought himself stiffly to attention and without a word echoed from thin lips. It was not until the end of master Darth Validus' speech that the sith admiral finally pulled himself into a firm salute.

Character - Ludo Kresh, NPC

The ancient spirit of Ludo Kresh stirred quietly as the young Darth Validus spoke out to the crowds with vigor on the return of the Sith's power openly to the galaxy. Ludo Kresh was proud of his work, as he was assured his ancient master would have been, Marka Ragnos. The Sith would once more flourish and be numerous, though bound to the Supreme authority of the Dark Lord. Such was it was in ancient times, when the Sith Golden Age flourished for a thousand years, and so it shall be again.

Following the speech were roars of approval and applause from the soldiers and droids present. The Force swirled around this gathering, the strength of their combined will fueled it. The Dark Side was strong. It was time then......

Ludo channeled the Force to bring his spirit forward and to be visible by all. His spirit projected his image up towering several feet above Sebastian's guards and his voice was deep and booming.

"Soldiers of the Sith! This is a momentous day!! The Golden Age of the Sith shall return to the galaxy, and the people of the Confederacy shall make it so! Leading us into this Age shall be our Sovereign leader, to which all must follow and obey!!"

At this Ludo turned to Sebastian and nodded approvingly. He reached out with a ghostly pale hand to press two fingers against Sebastian's temple, "Hence forth! I, Ludo Kresh, apprentice and successor to the Great Lord Marka Ragnos, anoint Sebastian Kade as Darth Validus, the Dark Lord of the Sith!" There was a flash of deep red fire from his fingers onto Sebastian's forehead, to which formed the perfect Mark of the Sith upon his brow. It would blaze hot as fire for all to see, but the pain would be brief as soon the mark would fade to only be seen thru the Force.

Ludo stepped back then, and his towering form knelt before Sebastian, suggesting all those gathered must do the same homage.

He whispered to Sebastian, "You are Dark Lord now. I exist only to serve and Council. All I ask is that you reclaim our ancient homeworld which has been lost to time, and restore it to glory. You must relcaim Korriban."

Then once again in a booming voice, Ludo chanted and all the soldiers followed in unison to echo:

"Hail Darth Validus!
Hail the Dark Lord of Sith!
HAIL!!"

Remus was unsure of how to react and he was neither a sycophant or zealot and thus only bowed his head. Remus sighed slightly as he saw the gathered former Dark Acolytes, now the Sith, bow to the ghost of the former Dark Lord of the Sith that appeared. Religion and the like never really was something that Remus dealt with. At first it was service to the InterGalactic Banking Clan but once the Treaty of Muunilist happened he had been fully transformed into the service of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and now the "Sith Confederacy" as they were apparently calling it.

Remus had already been dealing with "transition" issues, some wishing to depart the service of the Sith Confederacy for greener pastures, some wanting to follow this so-called new "Separatist Alliance", some fleeing to the safety of the New Republic and asking for forgiveness for their alleged crimes. Remus knew that if the internal problems in the new Sith military continued to grow it would spell disaster for the Sith when it came time to combat their true enemy: the Jedi and the New Republic. Remus again sighed and rubbed his chin pensively.

Remus eyed out several former Dark Acolytes that he had served with including Malcharion Zharost and his now apparently close confidant, Qa Lode among others. Remus turned to the new arrival: Lord Admiral Marcus Aurelius. Remus nodded to the Admiral and turned his attention back to the gathering of the Sith.

Supple, black leather touched coldly against metal resulting from the flex of muscle against bone and sinew. Finely-pressed fabrics dappled down upon the metallic ripples patterned across the floor cooly with the arc of bodily maneuverings that adjusted with the gait of the male and the staggering height of six feet with six inches lowered dramatically whilst thick, coarse threads of brunette ruffled to the removal of the confederate naval cap now removed from being affixed over one's head by the smooth motion of digits caressing the chaotic tresses and then pulling free the fabric cap. Sinew and muscle flexed as the cap-laden hand lowered to the waist and the hard touch of fabric and flesh touched the ground. The admiral brought to kneeling was no sychophant, though despite his realist outlook on naval doctrine one who knew him well could certainly call him a Zealot even if such was not entirely true.

Marcus watched perhaps the only military man that had earnestly gained his respect, process the number of changes now sweeping throughout the reformed Sith Confederacy after his own dark-blue eyes left the form of Ludo Kressh. He didn't know exactly what was going through Kelbor's head but with some of his own officers defecting he could hazard a guess. Resultant upon the nod, the naval cap would be pressed firmly against the sternum and a nod would be returned to Kelbor. Marcus though a former Dark Acolyte was much more like Kelbor and much less like the others. Perhaps that was why the Dark Lord had decided to keep him around.

Aden sat and watched, with a heavy heart, as new lord of Sith was proclaimed. He was all for this new Sith Confederacy, for two reasons, he intended to be Sith, and it would consolidate the confederations leadership and power. His only issue was, how would this stand with his family at home. Serenno left the CIS, his family is there, and he is here, for better or for worse. He knew after this, he needed to contact his father, and see what the mood was like on Serenno. He grinned, as thought of possible being deemed a traitor, would definitely impact on his marriage prospects.

He listened to the speech, making sure nothing was missed. The Sith Acolyte, Sebastian Ivar Kade spoke, he said Count Dooku was a true Sith Lord he nodded at this, as both had served the now dead lord. He then declared Palpatine, no true Sith, he raised an eye brow at that. The idea the master of Count Dooku wasn’t a Sith was untrue, but he knew why he had said it. As then he would have to accept him, as his leader of new Sith Confederacy. He wanted to know more about the Sith, as they were stronger, than the Jedi, and he knew what had taken to take him Down, and imprison him. He then predictably declared himself a Darth, his new name was Darth Validus. He declared himself Strong and Mighty in that name, we will see he thought to himself. Though he hoped he did, as that would suit his needs. He hailed the new Sith lord, along with the rest of his brethren, who now had the backing of an Ancient Dead Sith Lord.

As speech ended, he heard someone ask about droids, he rolled his eyes at that. The only droid of note, was General Grievous, and he was a Cyborg, who had killed many Jedi, and in his mind that was worthy of respect. The question is, after all this speech, was one how do we proceed. His place in the Confederacy, what were their assets, and with the people who fled, what was left of their production capacity. These were pressing questions, but they can wait till tomorrow, today was day to celebrate, and make new allies, as he was no longer had to hide in a shadow.

Taking in a calming breath, to ensure he didn't speak the wrong words, Darth Validus would then wave his hands about as if to guide his people, all of them...

" My people, my Brothers, Sisters, all of you....I would give each and everyone of you the chance at an audience now for I am, but a servant to the people....Let Remus Kelbor step forward first...."

Giving the respectable man his time to shine Sebastian would await for the man to step in front of him before allowing his voice to boom loudly once more.

" Remus Kelbor is also a man of the people...And it is because of his achievements that he will henceforth be known as the Sith Confederacy's new Warmaster! An overdue and well deserved title! "

Shortly after their interaction Sebastian would announce and wave up General Grievous, who visibly showed signs of annoyance at losing his duel with the new Dark Lord to say the least.

" And it will be the newly christened Authoritor Grievous who will work very closely with our Warmaster to ensure that our battlefields are thoroughly cleansed of any opposition. "

Then would come Marcus Aurelius whom was waved up tertiarily.

" Marcus Aurelius, a man many of you have watched rise among the ranks of the Confederate Navy...Now you watch him rise to the status of Lord Admiral, another part of a deadly trifecta between himself, the Warmaster, and Authoritor....All three of these men also hold seats on what shall be slated as the....Dark Council of the Sith Confederacy, a number of only the most qualified individuals within our Confederacy! They are tasked with taking all matters inside and outside of our faction to the table and mulling through all of it so that we together might make the best decisions for our people....

Now come, there are so many more of you who deserve equal audience you merely need to step forward! '

At that moment Darth Validus would gracefully leap up and over the railing of the platform, descending the the floor of the ship's hangar with equal delicacy before landing firmly without having to crouch. Now closer to his people than ever, any had the opportunity to speak to him one on one if only briefly.

Aden, listened and as his new lord said “Now come, there are so many more of you who deserve equal audience you merely need to step forward!” He did, he stepped forward, bowed his head to his new lord, and then spoke, with a pleasant tone, with sincerity “Darth Validus, I have many questions, but only one matters at the moment, the rest can wait. Though first I would like to pledge my loyalty Sith Confederation, and your leadership.” He took a breath, and looked at him, and asked “Serenno my home world, did not come over to the new Confederacy. The problem for me, is my family still live there, and I hope they will see the error of their choice. I ask do they have time to do so, and if they do so, may I become their governor?” This was two-part question, he was asking, if he has designs on his home world, and if he does, can become in charge of it.

This was question was also necessary, as he had a meeting with his family soon. He was under no delusions, his pretence of being a member of navy will soon evaporate, as the war was over. The fleet was being recalled, so they will be asking questions, and his family, was one great houses of Serenno. So, they will soon know the truth that he was no longer with the Serenno Navy. So he had to tell them something, as if not would bring bigger questions. Though as of now, under the new leadership, he just galactic elite, and what Marquis of Serenno did not like that idea.

Remus stood and as he heard his name his heart stopped slightly. Remus, among the masses gathered, was not a force sensitive. No, Remus was an opportunist who took a job with the InterGalactic Banking Clan's Collections and Security Division and now somehow found himself standing before a Dark Lord of the Sith. The Dark Lord began "Let Remus Kelbor step forward first..." Remus stepped forward, he nodded his head and bowed to the Dark Lord out of respect and possibly fear, he wasn't quite sure what he felt. "Remus Kelbor is also a man of the people...And it is because of his achievements that he will henceforth be known as the Sith Confederacy's new Warmaster! An overdue and well deserved title!"

Remus had some indication that this might happen but it felt surreal. A simple Captain, that's all he was, and now he was being proclaimed Warmaster of the Sith Confederacy. There had been rumors swirling around since his appointment as "Commander" an adhoc political-military title that granted Remus wide ranging authority within the Confederacy and he had come to shape some of the military decisions, notably the foray at Radnor and some future plans that the Confederacy would be enacting soon enough. Remus stepped back, out of the metaphorical spotlight. He nodded at his one time benefactor and mentor General Grevious who had been appointed as the Authoritor. The final mention came of Lord Admiral Marcus Aurelius, one of the leading naval officers in the Confederacy prior to its shift to the Sith Confederacy.

Remus watched the Dark Lord bound across a railing to meet and greet his followers. Remus folded his arms, scanning the crowd. Would one be so bold now? Remus' thoughts broke through and in a moment, a Sith stepped forward. Remus raised an eyebrow and leaned in closely, doing his best to hear. The Sith questioned about Serenno, the homeworld of Count Dooku and one of the first worlds inside of the Confederacy. Remus continued his eyebrow raise. "Serenno is a member of the Confederacy?" Remus thought aloud.

The Dark Lord would pause as his gaze fell upon the Acolyte that stepped forward next to speak, taking in the pleasantries with a warm smile Sebastian's expression would only fade momentarily upon realization that the man didn't give his own name. And though the Acolyte numbers were low the Dark Lord hadn't learned all of them yet meaning this one had been a mystery to him though Sebastian did have a curious feeling akin to familiarity about them. Once they questioned about Serenno everything would fall into place however as Sebastian quickly realized it was the young lad from House Malvern....Perhaps the spiritual successor to the likes of Count Dooku....Darth Tyrannus?!

Caught off guard when Remus spoke aloud Sebastian would gather himself nonetheless before continuing.

" Serenno....has requested its pure independence once more....However this does not mean our friends will leave us high and dry for we shall continue a beneficial alliance. The people of Serenno have done their part twice over and when we lost Count Dooku they lost their patriarch.

I made the decision. "

Allowing his expression to fold into one of seriousness just incase anyone were to question his ability to make decisions on his own, even with the likes of Remus, Aurelius, or even the Dark Council itself there to aid him in decision making.

Aden waited for his answer he soon got it, in two parts. The first part came from, the war master Captain Remus Kelbor, "Serenno is a member of the Confederacy?" he said with a raised eyebrow. He was about to reply, with a request to see if he can persuade them, to see the error of their way. As he was about to open his mouth, and request a stay of execution for them, the Dark Lord spoke " Serenno....has requested its pure independence once more....However this does not mean our friends will leave us high and dry for we shall continue a beneficial alliance. The people of Serenno have done their part twice over and when we lost Count Dooku they lost their patriarch.

I made the decision. "

He answered the dark lord, “Thank you for your time, and your answer.” Aden turned his head, and looked at Captain Remus Kelbor, and said “And thank you for your answer as well.” His voice was smooth and polite, and looked them both in eye when he spoke. He then bowed his head in respect, then withdrew politely, he headed to inner part of crowd. He would listen to others who asked questions, as he pondered the answer he had got, his home was safe, whilst the dark was in charge. This would have to revaluate if he should fall, as others don’t like it’s position, and he would keep an eye on that, for the future.
