OOC: Bakura is technically a neutral world on the outer fringes of the Outer Rim but does possess some strategic value. The Galactic Republic and the CIS would maintain basic diplomatic contact with Bakura but Aeaolen is trying to "sway" the world to the side of the Empire, likely to bring a significant portion of surrounding space into the fold of the Empire. This isn't meant to be major as the Republic and the Confederacy's interests/presence in this portion of the Outer Rim would be considerably less and likely have minor interests. If the concept of a sort've "undeclared" war between the Jedi and Inquisition isn't good, I can always edit this.
Aeaolen's slip to the Dark Side had not been readily apparent to him, at all actually, he always believed that he was in control of his emotions. That was perhaps his first mistake, or perhaps his first error in believing that the Jedi Order had taught him anything. His concentration was broken as he brought his lightsaber forward, the crimson red blade sparked as it met the lightsaber of the Rodian Jedi Knight in front of him. It rained on Bakura, the rain drops causing hisses as they touched the blade of the lightsaber. Aeaolen parried and kicked his right leg forward, the bottom of his foot connected with the Rodian's stomach and the Rodian let out a squeal as he reeled backwards. Aeaolen hadn't been within the Inquisition for long, he made no mistake about being still conflicted on the path that removed him from the Jedi Order and placed him at the mercy of the Emperor and more importantly, the Regent.
Aeaolen had been attacked by Malcharion Zharost while on a mission for the Jedi Order within Confederate space. Zharost had apparently been recruited as an agent of the captive Emperor long before his allegiance to the Confederacy and following Tarkin's Declaration of a New Order, he became an integral part to the foundation of the Imperial Inquisition, or Inquisitiorius, as it was known within the whispers of the Empire. Malcharion had brutalized Aeaolen, a fierce attack that left Aeaolen broken and almost removed from the Force; but that changed as Malcharion rebuilt Aeaolen in the depths of the Imperial Palace on Eriadu. Aeaolen accepted his fate, he learned things about the Force that he had never known, nothing that the Jedi would ever tell him about nor would they care to tell him about. The Jedi were dogmatic, they were concerned with their own perceptions and goals, nothing else.
Aeaolen also blamed the Jedi for failing to meet their obligations in the Clone Wars. Aeaolen believed that the Jedi had not done enough to support the war effort and Malcharion had used that, broken whatever will he had left in the Galactic Republic and promised him power and authority within the new Galactic Empire, a seat at the table so to speak.
The Rodian muttered something in Rodese and Aeaolen snarled as he launched a fury of attacks, he struck high, low, low, high, left, right and the Rodian parried his attacks not with ease but with determination. The Rodian wasn't here to be recruited, no. The Empire didn't like aliens and the so-called "Human High Culture" of the Core Worlds reflected itself deeply in the doctrine of the New Order. No this Rodian was to be removed as an obstacle to the Galactic Republic's interference on the planet. A small delegation of representatives from the Galactic Republic sought to bring the neutral Bakura back into the fold of the Galactic Republic. Aeaolen and the Imperials had other plans.
