OOC: Bakura is technically a neutral world on the outer fringes of the Outer Rim but does possess some strategic value. The Galactic Republic and the CIS would maintain basic diplomatic contact with Bakura but Aeaolen is trying to "sway" the world to the side of the Empire, likely to bring a significant portion of surrounding space into the fold of the Empire. This isn't meant to be major as the Republic and the Confederacy's interests/presence in this portion of the Outer Rim would be considerably less and likely have minor interests. If the concept of a sort've "undeclared" war between the Jedi and Inquisition isn't good, I can always edit this.

Aeaolen's slip to the Dark Side had not been readily apparent to him, at all actually, he always believed that he was in control of his emotions. That was perhaps his first mistake, or perhaps his first error in believing that the Jedi Order had taught him anything. His concentration was broken as he brought his lightsaber forward, the crimson red blade sparked as it met the lightsaber of the Rodian Jedi Knight in front of him. It rained on Bakura, the rain drops causing hisses as they touched the blade of the lightsaber. Aeaolen parried and kicked his right leg forward, the bottom of his foot connected with the Rodian's stomach and the Rodian let out a squeal as he reeled backwards. Aeaolen hadn't been within the Inquisition for long, he made no mistake about being still conflicted on the path that removed him from the Jedi Order and placed him at the mercy of the Emperor and more importantly, the Regent.

Aeaolen had been attacked by Malcharion Zharost while on a mission for the Jedi Order within Confederate space. Zharost had apparently been recruited as an agent of the captive Emperor long before his allegiance to the Confederacy and following Tarkin's Declaration of a New Order, he became an integral part to the foundation of the Imperial Inquisition, or Inquisitiorius, as it was known within the whispers of the Empire. Malcharion had brutalized Aeaolen, a fierce attack that left Aeaolen broken and almost removed from the Force; but that changed as Malcharion rebuilt Aeaolen in the depths of the Imperial Palace on Eriadu. Aeaolen accepted his fate, he learned things about the Force that he had never known, nothing that the Jedi would ever tell him about nor would they care to tell him about. The Jedi were dogmatic, they were concerned with their own perceptions and goals, nothing else.

Aeaolen also blamed the Jedi for failing to meet their obligations in the Clone Wars. Aeaolen believed that the Jedi had not done enough to support the war effort and Malcharion had used that, broken whatever will he had left in the Galactic Republic and promised him power and authority within the new Galactic Empire, a seat at the table so to speak.

The Rodian muttered something in Rodese and Aeaolen snarled as he launched a fury of attacks, he struck high, low, low, high, left, right and the Rodian parried his attacks not with ease but with determination. The Rodian wasn't here to be recruited, no. The Empire didn't like aliens and the so-called "Human High Culture" of the Core Worlds reflected itself deeply in the doctrine of the New Order. No this Rodian was to be removed as an obstacle to the Galactic Republic's interference on the planet. A small delegation of representatives from the Galactic Republic sought to bring the neutral Bakura back into the fold of the Galactic Republic. Aeaolen and the Imperials had other plans.

Moff Redar Brenau, the Moff of the Kuat Sector, had been appointed by Regent Wilhuff Tarkin to lead the Imperial delegation to Bakura. Bakura, a planet in the Bakura Sector of the Outer Rim Territories had been a goal of the Galactic Empire since its inception. Bakura was a large, populated world that could benefit from some Imperial liberation. The Bakuran Senate was largely dominated by corporate interests, notably the Bakur Mining Corporation and the Empire was fine with that. Khusad Nelil, the Prime Minister of Bakura, had agreed to meet with Moff Brenau in regards to the planets allegiance. "I can assure you Prime Minister that the Empire is not some upstart that is seeking to go away. We're here to stay." Brenau explained, he had been on the planet for several days meeting with various dignitaries, seeing sights and discussing potential Imperial improvements to the planet. Bakura's entrance into the Galactic Empire would likely prompt the surrounding sectors to fall in line and join the Empire as they looked to Bakura for leadership.

Brenau motioned out the large transparisteel window that topped the spire where leading members of the Bakuran Senate and the Prime Minister met with Imperial officials. "That is the Nightfall. That is an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer, one of many that will come to serve to protect Bakura and Bakura's citizens when they become Imperial citizens." Brenau then motioned to the black and gold armored Stormtroopers, known as Novatroopers, that stood at the doors next to Bakura's own planetary defense force members. "Those are Novatroopers, the elite of the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps that will be assigned to protect government installations, yourselves and whomever is appointed as the Imperial Governor and Moff of the sector." Brenau was about to drop a crumb, hopefully one that they would take. "I am sure that many of you will be appointed to positions within the Empire itself. Regent Tarkin has informed me that he wants to select many of you for assignments within the Empire, notably within the sector and the planet itself."

Prime Minister Nelil remained quiet, almost stoic. Imperial Intelligence had compiled a dossier and it reported that his sympathies lie with the Galactic Republic. Nelil had campaigned for his election to the Bakuran Senate on "Cleaning up corruption" and had won that election to the Bakuran Senate on that, he was sponsored by many pro-Republic groups and organizations. Election to the Senate was not done by the general populace but by the Bakuran Senate itself, it was likely through Republic efforts that he was appointed. The composition of the Bakuran Senate had changed however, many former Senators found themselves at odds with former allies as Nelil developed a support group within the Senate and was eventually elected Prime Minister after Tylo Daraay died in office. Nelil slowly lost allies, it was Senior Senator Metam Andar who had made contact with the Empire and was, according to Imperial Intelligence but not confirmed, supported by Sion Arden, the descendant of Deredith Arden who wielded considerable influence on the planet as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bakur Mining Corporation.

"I appreciate that Moff Brenau, however, what can the Empire offer us that the Galactic Republic cannot?" Nelil, a tall human male in his early 60s but relatively vibrant in health despite his age, calmed put forward. Brenau made brief eye contact with Senator Andar and brought forth his attention to Nelil. Brenau paused for a moment, mostly to bite his tongue and not snap at the Prime Minister.

Lieutenant Korr leaned his head against the back of the transport speeder that part of his unit sat in. He rolled his head over slightly to look at the heap of B1 battle droids that rested next to him, combined with preserved bodies of local Bakura PDF soldiers and an officer. Jerec was concerned where they had even gotten the bodies but didn’t think much about where they might’ve found donors. Jerec and his squad were assigned to carry out what the Empire had coined a "Political Gain Operations" or a "PGO". The whole point of the PGO was to "enflame" tensions between the Bakuran government and the Confederacy. The Confederacy by a wide margin had held significant influence on the world given to the nature of the Bakur Mining Corporation but "officially" the Galactic Republic saw Bakura as a member.

As they arrived at their destination Jerec undid the hatch and stepped out into the Bakura environment. One of his Sergeants stood in front of him and nodded. They were doing this under the cover the setting Bakuran sun and in a backwater part of Bakura's capital city, Salis D'aar. According to Imperial Intelligence that had been operating on the planet, they discovered that the Confederacy maintained an intelligence operation of local Bakuran's on the planet, and that had to end, hence the presence of Lieutenant Jerec Korr and his men. They were the Imperial Intelligence Agency's muscle right now as they continued to train their new operatives in whatever ways that they had to train them. The goal? Local Bakuran authorities were tipped off, they conducted a raid, Confederacy didn't like that, got into a shoot out between each other and here we are with a speeder loaded with dead Bakuran PDF and shot up B1's.

"Dump 'em" Korr motioned, and the process of unloading the bodies began. The Confederacy intelligence unit being run from Bakura was minor and the location that they selected was very rarely traveled. Why? The Confederacy had bought the whole block of the slums to run their operations out of. Korr assisted his men as they staged the scene.

---

"Protection." Brenau smirked wryly. Brenau was clued in which was about to happen, or at least what would be happening. The Prime Minister looked at him. "The Confederacy has deployed a number of units here. Minor but, we do have them here. The Galactic Republic also has stationed members of the Judicial Forces here to assist our local PDF. We are members of the Galactic Republic Moff Brenau." The Prime Minister finished, he got a jab in and Brenau appreciated that, it was a lukewarm respect. "I am sure that you remember that the Confederacy and the Republic once battled over Bakura. I have no doubt that the Republic will want to remove their influence off the planet." Brenau was no stranger to the Republic's defeat at Kashyyyk and the ripples it sent throughout the Galaxy. "As I stated, the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps will maintain a presence here to protect important members of the new government, the new Moff assigned to the sector and the Imperial Governor." Brenau leaned forward slightly in his chair.

"Members of the Bakura PDF will be re-assigned, re-trained and integrated into the Imperial Army." Brenau again felt his odd sense of pride swell in the Imperial Army. "I can assure you that the garrison here would be made up of loyal Imperial citizens who want to see Bakura succeed." Brenau watched as an aide to the Prime Minister tapped him on the shoulder. It had been kicked off.

Cassus leaned back in his seat, staring at the planet below him. Bakura, a neutral world on the outer fringes of the Outer Rim. The Republic had minor interest in this planet, trying to sway this world to join them. It was a fight between the CIS and the Galactic Republic, the Separatist Alliance also happened to have interest in the neutral world, personally Cassus never had much interest in politics, sure he grew up learning about it on Alderaan, but it wasn't his strong suit. Of course diplomacy was not why he was there, the Jedi deaths were. Against the will of the Jedi Council, he had elected himself for an investigation on the Jedi deaths, of course the reason the Jedi Council disagreed was they all knew who was responsible, and so did Cassus. The Inquisition was here. It was no secret to Republic Intelligence that the Empire have been attempting to sway Bakura to their regime. It seemed they brought an inquisitor to prevent... interference. The Republic couldn't just come to a neutral world with a warship, no, it had to be done covertly. Even though Bakura was a neutral world, the Prime Minister still favored the Republic, but still, hopefully Cassus could steer clear of the Prime Minister and the Bakuran authorities.

Cassus had met Prime Minister Nelil on one occasion, which was when he was sent to investigate some disturbances on Bakura, it had all been resolved as a false alarm though. He focused on the task at hand though, getting to the surface. He sat up in his cockpit and detached the hyperspace ring from his ETA-2 Class Light-Interceptor, he then prepared his fighter for descent into the planets atmosphere. As he descended he could see the city below, he aimed towards the local landing platforms, hoping no one would notice him. He would have to wear his Jedi robe and hope no one realized who he was, the entire investigation was at stake.

Aeaolen's motions were enhanced by the usage of what the Jedi had come to know as "Valor", an ability where one reached out through the Force and had enhanced their own abilities well beyond what might be considered "normal" for a human. The Rodian too reached out through the Force to enhance his abilities; it was something that both Aeaolen and the Rodian could sense. Aeaolen however was just much more prepared for this fight as he leap over the back of the Rodian in the fierce melee and reaching out through the twisting nether of the Force, he launched an invisible wave of the Force at the Rodian and the Rodian stumbled, his movement that of a dazed prey being hunted by a predator and Aeaolen smirked. Aeaolen drove his crimson lightsaber blade through the back of the Rodian. The Rodian howled as Aeaolen recoiled and removed his lightsaber from the Rodian's back, the Rodian fell to his knees. An eerie sense of passion waved over Aeaolen and he took a deep breath to steady himself. Since his departure from the Jedi Order it was the first time he had killed, it was the first time that he had ever killed a Jedi.

Aeaolen watched as the Rodian slumped forward and the Force twirled around Aeaolen, it was almost as if it was a dark mist, a blood red mist that infected Aeaolen. Aeaolen stood, lightsaber in his right hand, activated as the Bakruan rain hissed off the blade and he stood panting. The adrenaline coursing through his vains, his heart was pounding in his ears, the Force around him was hot, angry, alive. A Jedi Knight stood dead before Aeaolen and was trying to suddenly make sense of the world around him. The Dark Side seemed ever more present then it was before.

--

The Prime Minister stood and nodded his head to Moff Brenau. "If you will excuse me a minute. Something has happened and I must attend to it immediately." The Prime Minister was stoic but his resolve had been shaken. "Of course Prime Minister. Is there something we can assist with?" Brenau joined the Prime Minister in standing and offered several of his aides, the Prime Minister waved his hand in a rejecting manner and walked away from the conference table. Several Imperial aides congregated around each other and Brenau stood alone, an evil smirk barely contained on his face.

Cassus looked around, walking the streets, hoping to find any trace of the Inquisitor or Imperials. The Imperial presence here was worrying, the Empire was swaying Bakura to their side. The Republic would have to deal with the Imperial presence here. He thought over how he would go about looking for the Inquisitor. He might have to "ask" one of the Imperials. Surely the Inquisitor would be close by, most likely dealing with those who appose the Empire on Bakura. "Have you any possible locations of the Inquisitor?" He asked his droid, the Inquisitor would most likely be outside the city to remain inconspicuous, but he couldn't be sure.

"(Droid speak) Not yet"

"Hm, keep looking"

How hard can it be to find an Inquisitor? Cassus thought. He closed his eyes tuning into the force, he could feel the life of everyone around him, but there was another. One darker, more sinister. The Inquisitor could not hide.

Aeaolen stared at the lifeless body of the Rodian Jedi Knight and calling through the Force was another imprint in the Force. It was feint, perhaps because it was far or the Dark Side energies that twisted around and within Aeaolen were clouding his vision in the Force. Aeaolen tried to search deep within and noticed that the imprint in the Force was coming from Bakura's capital, Salis D'aar. Aeaolen breathed heavily, further attempting to calm his own nerves and let the adrenaline wear off. Aeaolen knelt down and grabbed the Jedi Knight's lightsaber and then leapt from the cliff where Aeaolen had traced the Jedi to. He enhanced his speed with the Force and leapt onto a waiting BARC speeder bike that he had taken with him down to the planet and sped off towards Salis D'aar to search out the imprint in the Force.

---

Lieutenant Korr pulled the stock that had been folded around the E-11D and placed it firmly in his shoulder. Korr nodded to his fellow Special Mission Troopers and they sped off; they were hitting a Republic Intelligence Service outpost and would upload footage of Confederate droids conducting a hit and run attack on the outpost. Korr turned a corner and pulled the trigger twice, twice single blaster rounds slammed into the chest of a Clone Trooper that had been guarding the door. Next to him another Imperial Army Special Mission Trooper pulled his trigger twice, he eliminated the guard standing next to him. As they closed down the hallway more troopers fell in behind them and did what they were tasked to do. Some marked walls, others dropped droid body parts, some dropped completely in-tact droids that had battle marks on them.

The door was secured with a passkey but they weren't going to spend time cracking the code. Korr motioned for his men to place breaching charges on the door. He gave a nod, the door was blasted opened with a reduced noise breaching charge. As the door blasted open, the Republic Intelligence officers and Clone Trooper guards were silenced with precision blaster shots to the body and head. Some of these men Korr had served alongside, not necessarily them but his previous work and experience within the Republic Intelligence apparatus saw him sitting in rooms just like this monitoring Confederate and other entities communications, transmissions, movements, etc.

Korr nodded and the men fanned out across the room, securing terminals, downloading data, tweaking intercepts and gleaning what they could to hand off to the Imperial Security Bureau and the Imperial Intelligence Agency. Others were sending distress signals to the Galactic Republic about a Seperatist attack, others eliminated footage of their attack and modified it to reflect a Confederate attack. It took them roughly 2 minutes and they were departing the outpost. No one would know that the Empire was here.

Aeaolen's search for the Force presence in Salis D'aar had gone dry, the presence either had faded or masked itself and Aeaolen was now on the hunt. Aeaolen privately snarled to himself as he walked through the streets of the city; himself cloaked and hooded like a vagrant afraid to be seen by the police or authorities. While he was unaware of exactly the events that were transpiring he noticed an increased Bakuran military and police presence becoming more and more apparent throughout the city; the plan was in action. Aeaolen had become adept at the art of using the Force to search out Force imprints and presences, it was a skill that the Jedi Order had neglected as they had "eradicated" the Sith threat but the Jedi neglected to share that other Dark Side users were out there and the Jedi might encounter them.

In recent months the Jedi had returned to a sort of older, more "Old Republic" style with the leadership of Grandmaster Bela Khess; Aeaolen respected that, almost admired it, however it was too little and too late. Aeaolen walked past a younger human male and Aeaolen felt a breath of the Force and he peered at the man who walked by, he paid no attention to Aeaolen. He carried a number of boxes and appeared to be aloof of Aeaolen's presence, or he masked it well. Aeaolen wheeled around and slowly walked behind the man. Aeaolen saw the man briefly shiver as if he caught a chill and he focused. The Force was alive within him, but did the man know it?

Aeaolen took a miniature datapad from his belt, near his lightsaber, and tapped the screen. The Inquisition had "acquisition" teams of Dark Jedi who were adept at capturing and "recruiting" new Inquisitors. Aeaolen had been "acquired" by Malcharion Zharost, one of the first Inquisitors who had been recruited in the Empire by the now imprisoned Emperor.

Cassus sneaked through the alleys of the city, he had to be careful. The inquisitor was close, he had masked his presence, and now, a trap would be set. He walked into an alley, making sure it was empty, he placed down thermal detonators on either side of the alley wall and concealing them, linking them to a remote and ensuring they wouldn't cause any structural damage. All that was left was to set the bait.

He sat down at the end of the alley, meditating and reaching out into the force. The presence was faded, but he could still sense it. It was a cloud of darkness, and it would be coming for him. The inquisitor had once been a Jedi, he was sure of it. Quite a few were. He had been deceived into thinking the ways of the Jedi were wrong, and that the only side of good, was the Empire. Cassus unmasked his presence, and strengthened his aura, making sure the inquisitor wouldn't miss him. A storm was coming, and he was in its path..

Aeaolen immediately sensed a Force sensitive in the area but it was too easy, it appeared too quickly. Something was off; the Force told him that much as did common sense. In the rather rudimentary training as an Inquisitor one of the hallmarks was the tracking of other Force sensitives and the masking of ones own Force imprint. It was never perfect truthfully, while everything was connected to the Force some were "brighter" than others. The training would continue following this little foray on Bakura but right now he turned his focus to the Jedi that he was hunting.

As Aeaolen walked through the corridors of the city he realized that something continued to be off. Aeaolen first passed the alleyway in which the presence radiated; he wasn't going for a full frontal...that would be suicide and something felt off through the Force as a whole. Aeaolen found himself going a block over, twisting through small walkways and corridors and the sole intention was to get the jump of the Jedi who was foolish enough to go against an Imperial Inquisitor.

"Interesting choice of a location..." Aeaolen walked out from a slender corridor behind where the Jedi had found himself.

Cassus sat there, still meditating when he felt the presence very close, it was as if the sun had been erased, and all there that was left was cold, ruthless, darkness. Cassus knew well enough the inquisitor would be skeptical, and he had prepared for it. His plan would be risky, but it would hopefully work. He stood up, and spoke in a loud enough voice to where he could be heard, "Well hello there." He spoke again as he turned toward the inquisitor, "Pleasure to finally meet you." Cassus moved his hand to his holster. He was ready to fire whenever he needed to. But for now, he had the intention to gain information. Perhaps the inquisitor could be reasoned with. He turned to, searching for any sign of the inquisitors movement.

Maybe at the back of his mind, he was scared. But at the moment, he was there to avenge his fallen brothers, and no one would get in his way.

Tk’e sat in an alley a couple buildings away from the chaos. She had managed to sneak onto a cargo ship, and took refuge in a crate filled up with what she guessed were attachments for blasters taking off from Coruscant. (Scopes, Silencers, Adjuster Straps etc.) She had no clue where she was, but that didn’t matter to her, as long as she was somewhere far away from Coruscant. Hoping he wouldn’t find her there.

She yawned, growling slightly as she stretched , her back still felt funky after spending a day and a half laying in between sniper scope attachments. Her tendrils twitched a little as she finished up stretching, anticipation filled the air. It felt as if it was too quiet, a sense of danger hung overhead. She didn’t know why, she just felt like something bad was going on nearby, or at least… about to. Tk’e could really explain it. If you were to ask her what if felt like, she would just describe it as danger. She quickly slung her leather bag with her belongings around her torso, grabbing hold of her staff, prepared to go find somewhere else to take shelter.

Aeaolen stood in the entrance of the alleyway and he raised an eyebrow to the aloofness of the Jedi before him. Aeaolen knew that the Jedi had no idea who he was, perhaps he surmised that he was a former Jedi. Imperial Intelligence had received information from within the Republic that the Jedi and Republic intelligence services were actively investigating "Fallen Jedi" entering into the service of the new Galactic Empire; Aeaolen was precisely that. It was not common knowledge and he doubted very much that the Jedi before him knew anything about him or who he was. Aeaolen noticed subtle motions of the Jedi that had indicated he might want a fight and Aeaolen smirked. "Now, that isn't the Jedi way is it?"

"Incase you haven't noticed, times have changed." Cassus replied as he slowing moved his hand, using the force to detach the thermal detonators from the walls of the other entrance out of the inquisitors sight. He walked backwards as he spoke, "Why did you leave the order, may I ask?" Cassus edged toward the other entrance, making sure to show no indication that he was using the force as he thought. Why would the inquisitor leave the order. They were a community who kept each other safe. Cassus would die for any of his brothers or sisters. "The order kept you safe, you were surrounded by people like you, brothers and sisters who would die for you. Yet you threw it all away to join a harsh Empire, ruled by an emperor rotting in a cell." He waited for an answer.

Aeaolen noticed the Jedi moving ever so slightly, even if he hadn't witnessed it with his own eyes he could feel the ebbs and flow of the Force. "Would you prefer I just surrender, come quietly and when I'm done you can read my biography?" Aeaolen remarked in a somewhat typical "Aeaolen" fashion ever so sly and sarcastic in the face of situations where he might be better off taking things seriously. "It is very clear to me that you believe to dogmatic view of the Jedi." Aeaolen once again remarked. "I have to admit, is that what they're saying about the new Galactic Empire? Typical of the Galactic Republic to brand anyone who does not wish to be part of their rotting corpse "democracy" as the enemy and harsh." Aeaolen had many, many gripes with the Republic and the outright corruption was one of the things that sent him over the edge perhaps he was overly ambitious that the same wouldn't happen in the Empire but at least it had mechanisms to halt that.

"Well that would make things easier, and the Empire is harsh. Whether you've noticed it or not, they don't ask, they demand. Your petty Empire was never desired as an enemy of the Order, and yet you slay Jedi with no remorse, they were once your brothers and sisters! Yet you kill them for what, the fun of it?" Cassus spoke angrily. His body tensed in recognition of the fact that the detonators were nearly at their destination. He moved his hand as the detonators reached the edge of the wall closest to him. "Now look what you've done." Those were his final words before Cassus thrust his hand forward, launching the detonators with the force at the Inquisitor. Detonating them the moment they got near him. The shockwave from the explosion sent him sprawling, he lifted his head as he saw the walls fall on top of the Inquisitor. Cassus stood up, grunting in pain, and began walking off, looking back only once, not in satisfaction, but in sadness. "I'm sorry, brother." Cassus whispered.

The growing sense of impending doom called out through the Force. It was a serious, impending danger and Aeaolen began to leap backwards, augmenting himself with the Force as the explosion pushed him backwards. It wasn't graceful by any means but it was controlled and Aeaolen managed to land himself on the roof of a partially demolished building. Aeaolen slid across the roof, boots dragging on the roof and tumbled off, backwards onto the roof of another building that remained intact. Aeaolen landed on his back and grunted to himself in pain. He laid there for a moment as the presence of the Jedi Knight faded away as he fled the scene. He slowly brought himself up and eyed the devastation that the numerous explosives caused.

Aeaolen stood, albeit a little gingerly, and smirked. "Jedi." Aeaolen told himself. Already Aeaolen could hear the sirens and klaxons of local fire suppression outfits. Aeaolen leapt off the roof, slowing his fall with the Force and he pushed down the pain as he rushed towards further twisting alleys and away from the blast zone. Aeaolen found himself inside of an abandoned building and he sat in a chair and sighed heavily. Aeaolen tapped a commlink and sighed again, trying to catch his breath. "It was the Jedi. Notify the Moff, send Korr for me. This was the Republic." Aeaolen dropped the commlink in his right hand and leaned his head back and closed his eyes.

He could sense the world with the Force around him even more so as his physical senses dulled from the aftermath of adrenaline, physical shock and pain. His breath slowed eventually and he faded into a dull sleep, but ever present that Korr and his team was on their way to extract him.

---

The Prime Minister returned and the Imperial delegation, those that he retaken their seats, stood including the Moff. "Is everything okay Prime Minister?" Brenau leaned his closed fists on the table and he locked eyes with the Prime Minister. It was abundantly clear that the Prime Minister, who had been gone for sometime, was angry, upset and confused. The Prime Minister and his cadre of officials shared similar faces, emotions and appearances. "When can the Empire deploy its resources?" The Prime Minister appeared to be angry when he spoke such words as if they pained him. Brenau had to fight back his smile and maintain his composure. "The Nightfall can remain here and deploy its resources within hours." The Imperial I-class Star Destroyer was equipped with 1 pre-fabricated base which could be deployed, the model being the IM-455 modular garrison base. "The Imperial Army can deploy from the KDY-Evakmar military transport an entire corps within several hours. The deployment of the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps will come later but we can leave a contingent here right away...as my personal favor to you." The Moff understood all too well what was happening.

The Prime Minister clearly took stock of his options. As it appeared the Republic and the Confederacy were fighting it out across Bakura's capital, a massive explosion just leveled an entire city block and several dozen buildings. The official story was that there was a gas leak and it ignited however unofficial rumors were traded that it was a Confederate attack on the Republic, the Republic had attacked the Confederacy but nevertheless it was "war" between the two major galactic powers. The explosion was caused by a Jedi and that would become officially known in due time but right now the Prime Minister was concerned about the stability of his capital and his planet. The Empire was concerned with securing Bakura, its system and the wider sector around it. If Bakura fell it was likely that surrounding sectors would fall to the Empire.

OOC: At this point, no. Cassus and the other NPC Jedi Knight were sent here and the Republic's presence on the planet is very minimal. The topic is also nearing its end stages. Maybe in the future you can get into other threads.

In the future might be worth putting us on a private message and asking us if you can join the thread. Doesn't make sense to clutter up the thread with OOC stuff.
