Wounds were still being licked, both mentally as well as physically or rather what was left physically....

" Coughh, hackk, cough, wheeeeze! "

As his lungs wheezed and hacked so would General Grievous' metal feet, clawed even, would clink as well as clank along the metal flooring of the cooridar he wandered down. For all of the armor that encased him with a protective shell, for all of his cybernetic enhancements, for all of this supposed "ultimate-being" Grievous was feeling fear, however fleeting it was. Sure, since becoming the Separatist "War Chief" he had shown bouts of such cowardice [though he wouldn't admit to such, although he was arguably doing so now] when it came to nearly dying, but his most recent brush with death had.....changed him. He had to be more methodical, egotistical, he had to be....careful? Perhaps, perhaps not, he just had to make more calculated decisions, with the regretful loss of Count Dooku and lack of support of Darth Sidious thereafter, it seemed as if it were all on Grievous' mechanical shoulders.

Still, there were rumors of a promising/rising political star within the Separatists' ranks, one "Empress" Ra'a'mah who's true worth would only be shown with time. She could never truly replace Count Dooku, but surely she could fill at least one of the man's fancy shoes?

Clink, clank, clink, clank.!

Continuing to stalk the halls of the vessel he was inside currently, being a Providence-class Dreadnought dubbed "The Righteous", aka the General's newest flagship. In addition the all of the ship's armament it had also been customized to be outfitted with a few Trihexalon-launchers to boot. Behind him a group of droid bodyguards, two standard IG-100 MagnaGuards as well as two of the new prototype IG-100/2 MagnaGuards. These updated variants were capable of taking more damage without sacrificing mobility or speed, beyond this they boasted nearly every other MagnaGuard variant's armament. From elongating/stretching arms, self-destruct systems, seeker missiles installed along it's back, as well as the new ability to seperate it's limbs into additional ones, including their legs. These IG-100/2 variants were also equipped with special elctrostaffs capable of detaching into two escrima sticks, a single Bulldog RLR, a MARK IV Recon Droid, as well as a single RD-4 Grenade Launcher.

Appearing much more metallic in color they also are given beige cloaks that are marked with two crimson stripes as well as the cloak's innerside being jet black, the latter color being the color of their headwraps too. Beyond this though, and from Grievous' testing, they were arguably/barely anymore useful than the standard model. Hence why they were still in the prototype-stage, nonetheless this slight percentage in improvement was enough to warrant Grievous' extended testing of the droids to prove if they were worthy guards or not.

Eventually coming to a halt as he entered the bridge of The Righteous General Grievous would proceed forward only as his bodyguards took their points around the bridge as a defensive measure however unnecessary it might be while on their flagship. Walking to the forefront as he began to gaze out of the viewport Grievous would hack and wheeze a bit more before speaking aloud to the ship's Neimoidian bridge crew.

" Connect us to General Remus as soon as we break from hyperspace and approach Kalee. Before we begin this initiative we will send a message to the Republic for supportive the barbaric likes of the Huk, we will exterminate these bugs, and well will free my people of oppression once and for all.

In this my Kolkpravis will come to my side once more and the Confederacy will have gained a new weapon, one that will be a proper killing tool instead of the basic hammer technique of the droids!
"

Hacking and wheezing after his short speech Grievous would continue to gaze out of the viewport before him watching as the hyperspace lane/speed slowly, but surely fell from view and The Righteous entered the space surrounding Kalee.

It was time....

He was home and the Huk would know the terror of Khagan Grievous, Supreme Military Commander of The Confederacy of Independent Systems as well as the Kaleesh!

The Executor dropped out of hyperspace next to the Righteous, the new flagship of the Confederate Navy as the Supreme Commander of the Droid Armies, General Grevious, had issued commands to Captain Kelbor. Since the Battle of Kashyyyk, the Captain had become a "favorite" of General Grevious and that made him uneasy. While he would never state that the General was "nice" to him, he certainly had made it clear that Remus had been within his circle. Remus was not unaware that this afforded him certain abilities and opportunities that others had not, especially with the rising threat of this new "Galactic Empire", the Confederacy was in a precarious position. What made this "allegiance" so dangerous with General Grevious was the rising political leadership crisis within the Confederacy, the rise of the so-called "Empress" Ra'ah'mah, but that was a topic for another time.

Remus had been summoned by General Grevious to handle business on Kalee, the home to the Kaleesh species, a fierce warrior species that Remus had spent sometime reading when he had been informed of the Generals plan to retake the planet. The Executor was joined by a number of Munificent-class frigates and a number of Recusant-class destroyers. Since the assumption of the Executor and personal favorite of General Grevious, Remus had been assigned more assets to command, including several thousands of battle droids, armored vehicles. Remus folded his hands behind his back and nodded to OOM-557. OOM-557 nodded back and motioned for the communications droid to signal General Grevious' warship. "General Grevious, this is Captain Remus Kelbor reporting for duty."

In succession Captain Remus Kelbor and Captain Haku Kludras would report to General Grievous' flagship, leaving Grievous himself standing in place with his hands held behind his own back and beneath his cape.

" Captains! Welcome to the liberation of the Kalee and it's inhabitants as well as the continued annihilation of the Galactic Republic and what it stands for! These Republican Dogs have passed laws and taxes against the Kaleesh, labeling them war criminals when in reality they are the victims of a war caused by the Huk, the Yam'rii an insectoid species of vile rogues.

Do not mistake this as some sort of selfish endeavour...**Cough, hack, cough, wheeeze**....

We will send a message that the entire galaxy shall receive, anyone wronged by the Republic will see that the Confederacy of Independent Systems is the side to join! If they support us they'll gain the big brother needed to stiff-arm their bullies. In this I ensure not only support, but....perhaps new additions to our military, ahahaha!

The Kaleesh themselves offer elite soldiers, if we help them in this war, this travesty, we shall obtain a new special forces unit! But, first we must rekindle this war and push the bugs from the planet's surface, the Kaleesh have been taxed into debt, giving up land, while the Huk continue to thrive, relishing the rewards they were given after claiming the victim role with the Galactic Republic.
"

The whole matter made General Grievous sick to what remained of his organic material, yet the high level of cowardice used in the Huk's tactics were even more sickening when reminding himself.

Eyes narrowing the cybernetic General would let his metallic hands and arms fall to his sides before taking two steps toward the holograms afforded by the Captains and their own ships.

" Captain Haku, Captain Remus you are to take point within the planet's atmosphere, you'll be sent coordinates now. Your ground support and air support are then to be deployed to the planet's surface, droids on the ground and fighters in the air. Anything this support cannot contend with will be left to your flagship's discretion while mine remains in space to take out any stragglers if needed.

**Hack, hack, wheeeeze!***

Our first point of interest is going to be the Shrupak...It was once the Kaleesh's most sacred temple, but has since become a new hive for the Huk....The Yam'rii have desecrated the location and erected a filthy bug-hive around it. Unlike our Geonosian allies, these bugs are not to be respected in the least. Reports are that the main stay of the infestation is here, after we clear it out and burn this hive down to the ground the next phase of our operation begins, there we'll be going to the ice caps.

Proceed with the attack!

**Wheeze, hack, coughhh!**
"

Captain Kelbor stood in front of General Grevious as he spoke and nodded subtly, it was a human instinct to do so. This region of the Galaxy was important, not only to the Confederacy but to the Corporate Alliance which donned a significant amount of influence in this portion of the Outer Rim Territories. Captain Kelbor snapped to attention as the General finished and said "It will be done General Grevious. The Executor and my forces will see to it immediately." Remus nodded to Captain Haku, an unknown to him, and proceeded to depart from General Grevious' briefing. As he exited the briefing area, he was greeted by OOM-557. "Prepare my shuttle; notify all droid units to be activated and begin plotting landing points on the planet near Shrupak. We must be swift." Remus was walking as the B1 battle droid clanked behind him, clearly struggling to keep with the pace.

@Sharkk @Silver

Soon after General Grevious relayed his orders, another group of ships arrived. At their head, a modified Lucrehulk Battleship and with it a Providence-Class Destroyer and one somewhat damaged Nova-Class Battle Cruiser. "This is Rear Admiral Korve. I am here to assist in your endeavors, General Grevious," The Rear Admiral said with a low tone of voice. My sincerest apologies if I am late."

The ship he was onboard was the Scythe of Corruption, an up-armored and upgunned Lucrehulk Battleship that added to the ship's durability and ability to strike down fightercraft, as to better counter the Republic's reliance on a carrier as their main warship. Underneath the extra plates was the typical beige metal of the Separatist Armada, but the thick external plates were black with blue stripes. The stripe pattern itself was a parallel set of angled lines, matching the way the armor was laid onto the ship.

He muted the communicator and turned his attention to Nakto Morak, who stood beside him. "Nakto, would you mind stirring the battle droids from their recharging slumber? I have a feeling General Grevious will wish for an assault, and quickly. Oh, and run those diagnostics on the Nova-Class, I need to make sure the task force is running at full efficiency for the good General." Nakto nodded and walked out of his voice's range, as to give orders over his commlink without it going over communications proper.

Sebastian found himself in a desperate and precarious situation to say the least. As one of the CIS' Dark Acolytes he held some merit, but for the most part Higher Ranking officials liked to rub their noses in dirt for whatever reasons, personal or not. Because of this Sebastian more often than not found himself guarding dead positions, cleaning up, or doing mechanical work. The latter of which was taking place with Sebastian welding some lose spots inside of an MTT or Multi-troop Transport vehicle full of dormant droids, B1's to be exact. However with a sudden jolt the vessel would activate and close around the young Acolyte effectively pinning him inside.
Narrowly avoiding being outright crushed it was only thanks to the fact that the B1's could somewhat move about in their harnesses while in their collapsed states affording the Acolyte just enough room to...well survive. Beyond uncomfortable Sebastian would figure that the battle that was to take place was taking place now and that someone had forgotten about him after sending him off on a nonsense job. Forced to ride in the cramped position Sebastian would listen to the dull noises happening outside, from being loaded onto a C-9979 landing craft before the next audible sounds he could pick up on were the sounds of war.
Booms would echo and the high pitch of squealing blasters would come off as a bit less dull than everything else. The fight was on and then the MTT came to a jerking halt, hissing open as it's framework began to stretch and yawn, it's retired droids being reactivated to join the fray. At this moment Sebastian would leap into the fray, he had heard about bugs, but that was it. So when he saw the "battlefield" and that it was a large temple and it's grounds mostly webbed into a living hive, a massive one at that.
In the distance massive bugs could be seen cutting down droids with their bare hands or rather claws, melee weapons, but also proved capable of using ranged blasters too. Even the B2's were finding it hard to put down the opposition, beyond this the bug's appearance alone was bothersome for Sebastian to focus on though the droid's didn't have this mental issue. Still the battle had to be won or lost and the Acolyte didn't want to be on the losing side least he end up being a host for thousands of eggs, albeit this was the first thing to come to mind and potentially not the worst. Drawing his short sword and shoto-lightsaber in tandem, holding the latter in his off hand, but also in ice pick fashion while his metal sword was continuously twirled about in his right. Rushing forward as the droids in the MTT behind him activated Sebastian would opt to act as their impromptu Captain, Commander, whatever the Rank necessary might be he was ignorant of it.
" Let's go ya' Clankers, do you wanna' live forever?! "
Again his greenness/wetness behind the ears and ignorance would show through, speaking about living to non-sentient droids. He would have preferred to have been trapped with a smaller load of B2's in the MTT, but the times ten complement of B1's filled him with some awkward confidence despite the B1's inefficiencies. Leading one hundred and twelve droids straight as other groups and waves moved in Sebastian would do his darndest to avoid blaster fire if he couldn't otherwise deflect or block it. When they got close up though that's when the sheer size of the Huk became apparent to the Acolyte, especially the ones wielding melee weapons that were even taller than themselves. Nonetheless the anxiety riddled Sebastian leapt high into the air to clash with one target, both of his blades making contact with a long halberd momentarily.
Pushing on through by deactivating his lightsaber then Sebastian would alter his positioning to then reignite his blade into the stomach of the giant bug, his sword digging deep in their chest too.
So far so good right?

The Yam'rii central hive buzzed with activity, as the insectoid race scrambled to deal with the invaders at their door. Soldiers were scurrying along corridors, as the perimeter defenses in the outer fields were already under attack by CIS forces. They were holding for the moment, but they sky was filled with more and more droid dropships.

A Yam'rii commander rushed into the central chamber of the hive, "Queen Regent, the Confederacy threatens to overrun the outer defenses, and our light frigates will be no match for their battle group in orbit. Soon they will be at the hiveeeessss doorstep. What shall we do? Call for aid?"

"Kkkrrriiiiaaaakkkk......", the queen regent hissed, "there is no time for reinforcements. Our coms have intercepted transmissions from the CIS General Grevious. No doubt he has not forgiven the occupation of his home-world." She observed multiple tactical displays as she walked around the room. "Tsssk, they are unaware of our improvements to defense, otherwise they would have never entered low orbit, kkkrrriiiaaakkk". With renewed confidence, she turned to the Yam'riii officers around her, "Prepare our defensive cannons to target their landing craft and their fleet. Send out a distress beacon to warn the mother-hive of what transpires here, and deploy all this hive's strength in defense. Kssssk, even our conscripted Kalee........they will not yet know whom they face and will fight with all their ferocity against the droid menace prior to learning the truth. Make them charge forward!! Tsssskkk, to glory of the Hive!!"

With that, the noise heard outside the hive rose from a dim hum to a resounding thunder as thousands of Yam'rii soldiers poured forth with blade and blasters in-hand to join the various defensive positions against the invading CSE armies. More over, the Yam'rii commanders were urging forward their "conscripted" soldiers from the local Kalee populace who were forced to serve or their tribes be threatened with heavy tax or full enslavement to work in the mines. As Yam'rii and Kalee warriors rushed forward in wedge formations to pierce the on-coming droids, a resounding thunder boomed across the battlefield......

hypervelocity cannon.jpg

......as three (3) large hyper-velocity cannons the Yam'rii had acquired with their trade deals began to thunder skyward to ward off the impending CIS flotilla. The first round shattered a C-9979 landing transport into shrapnel, and continued up thru the clouds until it slammed against the shields of an unsuspecting Munificent-class frigate. In moments, the shields buckled and failed......only for the crew to witness a second round slam into their under-hull to shatter their armor plating, and a third round to split the frigate in two!!

A silence followed in orbit for a bare few minutes until the chorus of the heavy guns sounded again, this time damaging the hull of a Recusant light destroyer, and punching a hole thru the outer plating of a Lucrehulk. Moments passed as the guns cooled, only for the CIS crews in orbit to hear them thunder again.......each time damaging a heavier ship or destroying a lighter escort. The crews of the CIS began to frantically look to their superiors for orders, less their ship come under the deadly fire from below........

Eventually it would become apparent to Sebastian that it was not just bugs he was fighting, but the local population of Kaleesh warriors too, the very people Grievous was seeking to save from enslavement. But, now they were to fight them? Was Grievous going to give them the order to stand down and to not strike at the locals? Perhaps he nor the other superiors had heard this fact themselves either.
" This is Dark Acolyte Sebastian....Uh....Are you guys seeing what I'm seeing?! They're throwing the Kaleesh at us down here! What are we to do?! "
Once the simple message worked its way up the grapevine and to Grievous the cyborg would let out a wretched scream that sounded as if he was in pain before he turned and began to move as swiftly as he could to exit the bridge of his new ship. Shifting from crawling and running on two legs he'd also take to leaping and bounding along the way as well, he believed he now had to step onto the battlefield personally much sooner than planned. If he were on the ground then the Kaleesh would refuse to fight against him and the other CIS, surely. As such Grievous would ignore the beckoning and calls sent to him on his comm channel as he was told that heavy anti-aircraft cannons were doing terrible damage to landing parties and orbiting craft. Knocking droids aside and entering the hangar Grievous would nonetheless enter his personal starfighter the Soulless One.
Blasting off and entering the fray Grievous would begin the hectic adventure to the ground.
Meanwhile Sebastian was left to his own devices as no word came for them to halt, in the meantime they were stuck killing those they were aiming to help. Nonetheless the combined forces of the Huk and the Kaleesh would cut down numbers of droids, in some instances quite literally due to their choice of weaponry. Eventually though Sebastian would find himself diverted from the frontlines with the order to aide in taking down the three anti-vehicle cannons. Sucking on his teeth before rerouting himself along with six B2 droids the group would make their way to the nearest cannon. Avoiding stray fire from afar along the way as well as clashing with both Huk and Kaleesh along the way, the group of seven would arrive near their target with six remaining, Sebastian included.

Outside the Main Hive

The Yam'rii and Kalee wedge formations cut deeper swaths into the advancing droid ranks, with combined arms of melee and ranged weapons dealing death. Additionally Yam'rii had taken up defensive rings outside the primary Hive structure, and were firing away with blaster rifles, heavy repeaters, and a few anti-vehicle emplacements. But still, the CIS droid forces pressed on with weapons blazing and their heavy armor throwing back the Yam'rii infantry in many places.

Though, to the keen observer........not all the Kaleesh conscripts charged into the fray. Many groups could be seen holding back near the defensive lines, taking the odd shots at intervals at the advancing invaders, but truly not giving it their all. Many were lost in conversation.......rumors swam thru the ranks......had their liberation finally come? When was the proper moment? And what of these murderous droids? Could the CIS be trusted?

Orbital Defense Cannons

Still, the great guns boomed! While still aiming for landing craft, the three (3) guns switched their targets to the primary invasion vessels of the fleet, the Providence-class destroyers and the Lucrehulk-class battleships! Shredding a few more transports on their way skyward, multiple hyper-velocity rounds found the engine spine section of a minor Lucrehulk. The first rounds pounded the shields relentlessly, but the ship held.........the a second wave........then a third, causing the blue shimmer of shields to buckle.......then the 4th wave ripped clean into the engineering decks causing secondary explosions.......the 5th cut her in half, with explosions rocking her frame and the center control sphere denotating from overloads.......all hands and droids lost.

As the guns cooled, their Yam'rii spotters scanned for the next target as the CIS fleet captains clearly began to panic! Little did they know, how thin their perimeter guard was for the CIS to penetrate if attacking the gun emplacements.

With Sebastian and his B2 escorting nearing the perimeter of the first gun, they would proceed thru a small outcropping of trees. This glade was perfect cover away from the lazy sentries of the Yam'rii. However, as foundations of the large gun appeared within site through the last bit of foliage, sudden commotion erupted all around him!! The woods were suddenly alive with movement, with each bush or leaved branch seemingly producing multiple ion grenades which impacted with near perfect timing to overload most of his B2 escorts to be completely useless, save two (2) who were only impaired........but suddenly dispatched with vibro-spears and blades piercing their chassis to finish the job.

Time seemed to stand still then around Sebastian, as the woodland moved in closer to reveal he was surrounded by a near score (ie, 20) Kaleesh commandos. As the resounding clicks of multiple blasters and slug-throws had their hammers cocked, one voice range out, "WAIT! Wait.....see his blade? This one is different." A kaleesh warrior moved forward then and lifted his skull mask so Sebastian could see his reddish skin. "Please, we do not fully trust the droids, as surely they would shoot at anything that moved if it be identified as a foe. But you.......you are different. The blade you carry.....the stance about you......do you serve the General?", the Kaleesh asked in earnest. His eyes were fierce but alight with hope, "I am Alack, and we have been prisoners on our own world for too long. If you value your life, speak truth. Do you serve the General? Is he here?"

Before he could even react properly Sebastian's entire support force was taken down before his very eyes. Twisting and turning as each and every clanker took a vicious, yet non-organic end to their "lives". However, and despite the odds, he'd stand defiantly ready to die fighting on his own only for the opposition to reach out to him or seemingly so. While the native population had seemingly been converted to help their invaders it wasn't wholesale and Sebastian had ran into a rebel sect. Lowering his combative stance he'd nod on before speaking in response to the Kaleesh who had raised his mask.
" You mean General Grievous...I mean of course you do...Yes, the very leader of the Confederacy's military forces is above the planet...He is a God after all....."
Biting his tongue even when his life was threatened Sebastian did his best to remind himself of the odds not being in his favor as well as the fact that they were there to help the natives. Beyond this Sebastian wasn't a mindless Dark Sider, a blessing in disguise for these Kaleesh surely. It would be at this pause in time though that the higher ups would radio in to forces that General Grievous was flying to the planet's surface, a face that at first had Sebastian visibly shook. Only for this to quickly waver into a sadistic grin. Sebastian had found pride in the fact that the Kaleesh had saw some of the General's fighting style in his own due to their mutual training, but they were in for a treat, the real thing when Grievous touched down.
" He's coming down.....We need to take out those big cannons, since you guys took down the clankers, you're my support force. Let's get going! "
Whether they followed him or not Sebastian would begin sprinting on, he still had a job to do even if he had to do it on his own. Along the way he'd snatch a belt of ion grenades from one of the nearby Kaleesh rebels, slinging it over his own shoulder as he sprinted on after the nearest cannon once again. Still moving without worrying about backup or not the Acolyte would move about like a pissed off hornet, zigging and zagging with seemingly no focus as he cut down Huk defending the massive cannons blasting away into the atmosphere and space above. Eventually springing up with The Force and bounding up the side of the construct Sebastian would sheathe his sword while deflecting blaster fire with his Shoto, using his free hand to climb until he was in a secure position.
Once there his plan would be enacted, his goal was to use the ion grenade belt to take down the cannon from a weak point if able. Slashing open a wide wound along the metal side of the cannon Sebastian would then activate one of the grenades before slapped the belt into place, using The Force again to then fling himself from the cannon outright. Flipping down back to the ground he'd enter the melee in hopes of an electrical shorting out in the cannon/possible delayed explosion.

______________________________________________________________
Meanwhile General Grievous in the Soulless One would race through space, aerial combat, and the like on his way to Kalee's sky. It had been so long since he had personally been there, since he had since he had even seen his homeworld's sky. It filled him with emotions and feelings that he hadn't felt in years, nostalgia, he had almost thought he had purely become machine. But, Kalee and her people had filled what remained of his organic side with a fire that had him in a sort of trance, a sort of focused wild. Blitzing forward Grievous would punch the starfighter to it's top speed, blasting his way through anything that got between him and his target, being the ground.

Captain Kelbor had brought his Providence-class Destroyer into the orbit of Kalee and had ordered the droids caring for the vessel to bolster its underbelly's shields, a means to protect against hypervelocity canons, this in reality was a futile adventure because they would devastate the Executor. Remus however had positioned the Executor far away from the HVCs, a strategic move which allowed him access to different parts of the battlefield's overall view. Providence-class Destroyers were highly modular and while Remus was officially a Confederate Navy Captain, the lines were often blurred between the Confederate Navy and its "Droid Army" to which Remus enjoyed the opportunity, while he was considered to be a superb naval strategist, his ground commanding skills were still in development.

Remus had several hundred thousand droid units underneath his command and while the focus had been on Shrupak, he had designs to start slowly eradicating hives outside of the main objective; perhaps a little ambitious but he would contribute forces to the main assault on Shrupak. A vast majority of his ground forces consisted of B1 and B2 Super Battle Droids, he had a handful of Droidekas that he had deployed as a heavy assault strategic reserve. He entrusted command of his ground forces largely to an ST-series Military Strategic Analysis and Tactics Droid known as ST-551 and a cadre of T-series Military Strategic Analysis and Tactics Droids that assisted ST-551. The ST series had been acquired as a gift by General Grevious and was a cunning, efficiently brutal droid commander whom Remus had somewhat come to enjoy the company of.

He had granted ST-551 the authority of the ground forces, save his own authority, and tasked T-271 with eradication duties outside of Shrupak, something Remus would be personally overseeing as a nod to the wishes of General Grevious.

The explosion from Sebastian's grenade satchel would rip apart the outer metal housing of the massive gun's conductor coils. Now unshielded, the battery's lower housing began to smoke and spark electricity as the coils began overheating! Though damaged, the gun was still operational enough to fire another deadly round into space in the following moments...........

.......when suddenly a great cry range out, "Ingmal! Ingmal! For the General!! Death to the Huk!!!!" Emerging from the nearby forest, the Kaleesh commandos came charging out to Sebastian's aid! Many charged the Yam'rii shoulders with vibroswords and spears as they tried to encircle the CIS acolyte, while others set up a firing line to rain heavy blaster bolts at the weak point in the battery. One Kaleesh took a knee as he fired a concussion missile to finish it off the gun, with the resulting detonation raining metal components in all directions as the battery fell silent.

About 100 yards away, more Kaleesh combat squads were engaging their Yam'rii overlords at the second gun emplacement followed by a series of demolition explosions, which toppled the other battery rendering it useless!

The commandos rushed to fight by Sebastian's sides against the few remaining enemies around him. The Kaleesh who had addressed Sebastian earlier in the forest moved up Sebastian as he stabbed an enemy through the chest. "Well fought! What do you say to capturing the final defensive cannon, as a gift to the General?"

On all fronts now, the word was spreading among the Kaleesh........General Grevious was returning.......their liberation was at hand! Some shook their heads in disbelieve not sure what to do. Yet most of the Kaleesh let out fierce battle cries for joy, feeling the fire and rage of freedom rise within them. This was the hour of their revenge! Battalions of Kaleesh warriors began abandoning their defensive positions in the Yam'rii lines and turning their weapons on their hated oppressors! Disorganized chaos rose on all fronts as droids, Yam'rii, and Kaleesh clashed in an odd-ball turned three-way fight. Direction and order was needed, and needed soon. Grevious would have to hurry..........

It had indeed become a disorganized mess to say the least, initially apparent to Grievous from the frantic calls over the CIS comm-systems. Secondly, as he broke into the planet's atmosphere and then dropped further down through her blessed sky the cyborg would bare witness to the chaos. Fueled by so many emotions it was then that Grievous would act without thinking, or rather acting on some primordial thoughts of violence. Instead of waiting for his starfighter to land properly General Grievous would open up his cockpit before prematurely evacuating the vessel midair and leaping some twenty feet to come crashing down onto the battlefield quite literally as his cape danced in the air.
Coming down upon a Huk warrior himself Grievous would crush them outright, though the cyborg's swift brandishing of two lightsabers, one green, one blue, would take the lives of two more.
Splitting his left arm into two, giving him three in total currently, Grievous would free up one hand to latch onto a comm-link to finally address his soldiers as well as...his people.
"Soldiers of the Confederacy your General has arrived! Your blades and blasters are here to release the Kaleesh of their oppressors, strike with them, kill every last Huk you lay your eyes on! Crushable beneath your heel or meters tall, their deaths will bring the Kaleesh glory today!

INGMAAAAAAAAL!!"
Shifting his split limb once more Grievous would put away his comlink as he returned to two arms only, leaping into the fray and then yelling to all and any nearby Kaleesh.
"Brothers, Sisters! I have returned! For too long our reunion has been put off, but I am here, finally...And I bring release, I bring the fires to snuff out the Huk! Fight alongside the metal warriors I have brought this day, let us find glory!!

INGMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!"
Attempting to rally his fellow Kaleesh too Grievous would try to lead both organics and droids against the insectoid invaders. Proceeding to sprint-stomp his way further into the thicket of battle General Grievous would begin to not only cut down/slay Huk, but also simply maim some targets here and there. In removing some of their limbs, but leaving them alive otherwise Grievous aimed to allow Confederate droids, Acolytes, etc. as well as Kaleesh warriors to push forward quicker with easier kills. MAking his own path through the hordes of bugs the cyborg Kaleesh would rage on.
______________________________________
With the native back up coming in like a swift follow up hammer blow Sebastian would breathe a sigh of relief, thanking the General subconsciously for no real reason other than his and the Kaleesh's connection. The native's would then note that it was likely a good idea to capture the last remaining cannon as a gift to Grievous, an idea that wasn't half bad at all.
" Uh...capture it? Errr...That's going to be more difficult than just blowing it up, haha...hehh, heh....Uhh, any ideas? What do we do just take down every around it and operating it? Is there some way to shut it down for the time being?

Wait, is this the part where you have the Human-guy act as bait...a distraction?.......Uh....."

Remus studied the holographic battle map before him on the bridge of the Providence-class Destroyer, his hand over his chin and bottom lip, his other hand underneath supporting it. He oversaw his "Tactical Cell" which was overseeing the battle. Shrupak was the main focus of the Confederacy attack but Remus had taken to appeasing other goals of General Grevious, he was eradicating the hives of the Huk outside of Shrupak. The Confederacy's march was slow and methodical. The front line of the Confederacy's attack line was made up of B1 battle droids supported by B2 Super Battle Droids, the B1s were bearing the brunt of the Huk's attack which was negligible due to the fact that they were focused on Shrupak. "Deploy the a unit of the Droideka's to attack the strong points in the line." The response from ST-551 was somewhat a simplistic response of "Rodger, rodger."

Remus' forces were several miles outside of Shrupak and he contacted General Grevious. "General, we are advancing away from Shrupak. We are focusing on the eradication of the Huk in the outside hives." Remus returned his gaze to the tactical table. "Deploy close air support." The Executor was equipped with a large number of Hyena-class droid fighter/bombers and HMP droid gunships that would be deployed from the hanger to support the advance of his droid forces.

Grievous' rage would never cease to spill forth like a flood consuming any and all nearby enemies as he continued to storm forward with one goal in sight, Shrupak.
Twirling his lightsabers with equal parts skill and equal parts savageness the cyborg wouldn't stomp on by, nay he'd race through the hundreds, the thousands of droids, Huk, and Kaleesh warriors. At one point however a rather massive Huk opted to stand directly in Grievous' path only for it to have it's face smashed in when the General headbutted them before climbing up and over them with his powerful steel clawed feet. Along this custom path of stairs Grievous would carve out his target's belly and would decapitate them all with his feet alone, acting as deftly as his hands would. Performing a sort of walk up and over, non-flipping front hand-spring as if he was unravelling himself from a wheel. Grievous would land without a thud for he instead entered another sprint, the decapitated Huk head he held onto being thrown at another mantis-being to knock them off balance so that a series of B1s could pelt it with a volley of weak blaster fire.
Lightsabers whirling back into action to keep his path clear Grievous would eventually find his way to his destination, albeit outside of her threshold and just some yards from said exterior. Taking it all in for a moment he'd proceed to then lead a gathering group of B2 and Kaleesh warriors whom were making their way near him and the Shrupak. Taking his first step upon the structure's stone steps after so long would cause Grievous to tremble once as he clenched onto a portion of the disgusting hive that the Huk had put around the Shrupak before he began to stomp methodically up the rest.
" Bring the flames of war, burn these Huk and their hive infestations, Shrupak will be cleansed by sundown, no later! "

Remus watched the command table as droid forces fanned out across the fields of Shrupak and engaged with the Huk, aerial reconnaissance had showed that the droid forces were winning handedly against their enemies. "Ensure that it is extermination, nothing less." Remus had his orders and he would follow them, he quipped to his command droid about being an Admiral and serving as a major combatant commander in a land operation but stopped himself before he said it. The Huk were an aggressive species and had been somewhat technologically advanced, having carved themselves out a portion of space following their discovery of hyperspace technology.

The Huk that they were facing were relatively unequipped to fight, intelligence reports cite that the Huk had a "warrior" caste or some sort of warriors but Remus believed they were committed to the fighting in Shrupak not on the outskirts to defend their hives and homes. Something was about to change, spilling out of the hive were two and half meter tall Huk warriors, or what Remus took to be warriors, they had clipper like forelimbs that and they began to spill forward from the hives and he noticed that they started to break certain elements of the droids, by break he noticed that they had split them in half relatively swiftly. "Deploy the Droidekas!"

Having begun the march upon the Shrupak it was no surprise that General Grievous had begun to do his dirty work as soon as he encountered more enemies. Beyond this he did his best to not damage the structure itself, that was outside of the hive infestation that was organically glued to it. With chunks of this flying through the air along with pieces of Huk it wouldn't be held against anyone for being confused on which material was which.
Constantly though Grievous was flashing back to his past clashings with the insectoid Huk, blasting them down with his rifle, cutting them with his physical blades. Then back to the present where he was more machine than being and wielded the energy swords of the Jedi, a means to mock them while brandishing the lethal tools. If he had teeth to gnash he surely would, instead he'd settle for crashing his metal "face" into another Huk's, relishing in the sick crunching and squishing it'd cause.

Meanwhile Sebastian and his Kaleesh comrades along with whatever droids they had left in their company would have already pushed their way into the vicinity nearest hyper-velocity cannon. Along with this they had sought after the option of shutting it down for the time being so they could move to the next, however this would prove difficult as it were the Huk who had installed them leaving the other natives unable to operate the weapons correctly. Because of this along with the fact that it was impossible to imprison a Huk for answers thanks to their hivemind connection.
Nonetheless Sebastian answer was simple albeit tedious as he had previously stated, just kill all of the guards so no one was left to operate the hyper-velocity cannon thus it would in essence be shut down for the time being.
Huffing and puffing at the end of the effort the Acolyte would attempt to render his breathing back under control, hazel eyes shifting around the Kaleesh surrounding him then.
" You guys are crazy good fighters! Hehh, heh...Y'all fight a lot like us Acolytes....At least us who've been trained more so by...hehh, heh...The General himself. I wonder why that is? "
In this Sebastian showed his ignorance of knowing Grievous' species or his home planet, being on the latter presently while the previous were the same men and women that had been fighting alongside him.

The Huk were vulnerable from the air, they had no ability to defend themselves from the air. Remus exploited this effectively, the Hyena-class' were devastating large swathes of Huk as they marched out of hives. Remus was conducting a genocidal campaign and had directed the Hyena-class to drop their bombs down the opening in the hives. The Hyena's, equipped with air dropped proton bombs dropped them down the opening in several dozen hives. Remus could see sensor readings on the vibrations as the proton bombs exploded underneath the ground, these explosion washing away entire hives and underground complexes of the the Huk. Remus was still trying to best figure out how he would enter into the hives and destroy them from within; something that would require a delicate touch, or not so delicate touch.

Remus continued his overview of the battlefield. The B1's were fairing effectively against the Huk, while the losses from the battle would be relatively "large" for the Confederacy, they would mostly be B1's, and they could be replaced somewhat easily. "We need to continue to strike these hives. Deploy all available bombers to target the hives. Everyone of them must burn. Deploy reserve forces to begin sweeping the hives." The battle from here would be a grind outside the hives. While General Grevious and Remus' focus was around Shrupak, there were dozens of other Confederate commanders conducting warfare across the planets continents and areas; they all followed similar goals set down by the General; Remus was just fortunate enough to be a favorite of General Grevious after rescuing him from Kashyyyk.

" Where are my Grapple and Plasma Droids! *COUGHWHEEZECOUGH* "
Belting over his commlink the General would continue his assault against the bugs. It would be a few more minutes until he was given a response to his verbal belting, a small transport wooshing in only to pause over head...From it's belly opening up with two sliding doors a series of figures would be deployed. Crashing down into the chaos first would be four Plasma Battle Droids, insanely tall at twelve feet and equipped with built in lightning-cast plasma throwers. While inaccurate and poorly defended that's where their reinforcements came in hand as many more droids descended onto the scene, this time being B2-series Grapple Droids. Yet, oddly enough some were blue, but fewer still were red. This was done on purpose as it was actually two variants, the blue brandishing traditional electrified pincers while the red wielded the same, but instead could also fire a flaming plasma ball from afar.
Beginning to hack and wheeze in glee as he saw this Grievous would charge into the fray once more, now leading his advanced droid models into combat personally.
" Eradicate every last piece of infestation from this holy temple! "

" Alright, locals let's move out and support the deployed Destroyer-droids! Or Droidekas, whatever you wanna' call em'! "

Leading a charge from their current position then Sebastian would begin to feel a new sensation rush over him, never having been in a true leader position in his life up until this point.

Remus' command post was busy with droids of all sorts. OOM-557 had stayed around Remus the entire time and Remus although annoyed by his constant presence and voice, was elated to have him there it. The modified OOM Command Battle Droid had been updated and provided advanced intelligence similar to that of the more strategic droids. "Uh Captain Remus." the droids iconic voice broke Remus' concentration. "What?" Remus choler was visibly dripping from his voice at this intrusion into his thoughts. "ST-551 has informed us that a group of Kaleesh have approached and requested to assist our forces." Remus turned to the droid, his hands resting on the edge of the command table. "Do they have a leader?" Remus was now generally curious, perhaps they had broken off from the main force?

"Uh someone identifying themselves as Tarkhan Xydaenaar Sonnan." Remus had no idea what any of that meant or if one of those was a title. "Hand him a damn comm link." Remus slapped his right hand as he maintained his gaze on the shifting holographic images on the battlefield. The voice cracked over the comm link. "This is Tarkhan Xydaenaar Sonnan. I lead a horde of Kolkpravis warriors. I come to offer my assistance." Again Remus remained aloof of what any of that meant. "I lead several hundred Kaleesh warriors in honor of whom you know as General Grevious." Remus' face was that of shock and utter surprise. "Well I am Captain Remus Kelbor, I am commanding the forces of the Confederacy outside of Shrupak. Are your forces prepared?" Remus was now grappling with trying to figure out who these warriors were.

Droid intelligence and reconnisance units had reported the presence of local militia known as the Kolkpravis but little else was known. "We are prepared Captain." Remus smirked slightly. "Tarkhan have your forces conduct rear guard security for my advancing droid forces. The Huk require eradication. I am sure that you and your people will do your best." Remus could almost hear the inflection of pleasure in the tribal leaders voice. "With pleasure Captain." The Executor had hung in the atmosphere over Kalee and the OOM Command Battle Droid which had been tasked with monitoring the space above Kalee sounded panicked. "Uh Captain! CAPTAIN!" The voice panic and the droid clanked over to Remus.

Remus sighed again. "What?" Remus looked up and the droid motioned to the orbital scanners. "What the hell is that?" Remus rushed to the command chair and tapped indicators on his chair to read orbital data. A Munificient-class Command, Control and Communications frigate in orbit above Kalee had been transmitting data in unison with several others across the planet. The Neimodian Captain of the Greed, a C3 Munificent sub-variant, patched through. "Captain Kelbor. Uh I have vessels identifying themselves as the Blackscale Clan. They state that they want to offer services to the Confederacy." The Neimodian's accent was thick and Remus was now being offered assistance from Trandoshan slavers?

"Patch me through to the lead vessel." Remus rubbed the bridge of his nose. The Neimodian responded with something but Remus had stopped paying attention to him. "This is Thryrrng Svar. I am of the Blackssscale Clan. We come offering our ssservicesss to the Confederacy." Remus tried to figure out how exactly that they had heard about this but it was not unheard of for the Confederacy to offer slaving services to worlds that it had attacked or brought to heel. It was probably some Trade Federation executive or the IGBC working to finance some project. Remus leaned his head from one side to the other and chuckled to himself.

"You can deploy your forces to the rear of mine outside of Shrupak, whatever survives or surrenders is yours. Coordinate with Tarkhan Sonnan, he has preference I am afraid as he was here first." Remus figured why not? More sentient forces on the ground was a good thing for him. "We will deploy immmediately Captain." Remus always liked the Trandoshan accents and the way they spoke, it was very reptilian. Remus returned to command table and a steady stream of information was being uplinked: droid forces, Kaleesh locals and now Blackscale slavers. What a dream.
