{Hoth; Time: 8:52 AM}

Tk’e burrowed her way through the snow, creating tunnels underneath the pure white hills. Now that she was free, she could do whatever she please as long as she stayed far away from her old cave home. She knew how death worked on Hoth, you either were left as a pile of blood soaked bones or you were left as a dead popsicle.

Tk’e shook the negative thought out of her mind and reminded herself that she was supposed to be having fun, not feeling sad. She went back to burrowing through the snow.

Since JanFathal.
Since Ludo Kressh had chosen him....
Sebastian's life had been forever changed and even present day/now it showed as he piloted his vessel through space at alarming speeds. Having borrowed a Maxillipede Shuttle, for the luxury and to somewhat blend in better than his own Orb Wing, the Acolyte would take off to where he felt the Dark Side calling to him. However this would eventually lead to the Sith-to-be in the middle of nowhere...in space. Cursing himself for some time before taking a break to snack before getting back at the "task" at hand, Sebastian would calm himself while attempting to focus in more on the calling he felt. This Dark Side calling would then begin to pull the Acolyte toward a system in particular then a planet....Hoth?
Cursing himself again and again Sebastian would hesitate descending down to the planet only due to his hate/fear of the cold. Rolling his eyes into the back of his head for a moment he'd then punch it in, making his way to the nearest safe spot he could sense through The Force. Not wanting to fall right through the snow he'd nearly even pray to something, someone to ensure his safety. Touching down in the middle of nowhere, akin to where he had been lost in space, the Acolyte would walk out into the snow while leaving behind the B1 pilot droid and the small squad of B2 units waiting inside and near the exit ramp. Braving the blizzard ravaged landscape Sebastian would begin to walk out into the snow.

They arrival of the Acolyte had not been as stealthy as they had wanted. Tk’e came out of the snow, the small horns on her head poking out like tiny mountains.

She burrowed underground and made her way over to the ship, her curiosity getting to her.

She now saw Sebastian walked down the ramp, a small gasp caught in her throat, his appearance reminded Tk’e so much of the same men that had broken into her home so many years ago. She lunged back under the snow, deciding to take a more cautious approach to the Acolyte. By tunneling around to the back of his ship, and then emerging and peeking around the corner, she has a better chance of investigation without being caught or worse, killed. With the easy access back to her tunnel she would be safe.

While Sebastian's stealth had failed, so would Tk'e's albeit only thanks to the B1 pilot noticing the ship's local sensor picking up on another blip, a new one, an anomaly even. " Uhm sir, there's an anomaly on the radar....Uhh, there's another blip near the ship toward the rear of the vessel! How uh, do you want us to proceed sir? "
Rapidly spinning in place, but only after his head had first turned about to look in that direction beforehand, the Acolyte would hiss almost silently as he faced where the wind was coming from thus leaving his eyes to sting from the cold it brandished. " What?! Send the B2s, what do you mean?! Two units to the rear, two at the ramp and keep one onboard. " Sebastian almost wanted to storm his way back to the ship, but instead he'd opt to remain at his position just in case he could be of more help from afar.
Meanwhile the B1 pilot would indeed task the B2s with their new orders, sending two to the exit ramp to guard, keeping one near the cockpit to protect itself as well, before tasking the final two with addressing the issue at hand, the blip toward the rear of the ship. Clinking and clanking their way until their metal feet were crunching the white snow instead they'd hauntinly stomp their way around the ship before making their way toward the "anomaly". Sebastian from afar would attempt to use The Force to register what he couldn't see....

Tk’e glared at the B1 droid, shushing it in her odd dialect.
<“Shhh! Quiet…quiet!”>

When she saw the B2 droids head her way, Tk’e made a small yelp, before digging back underground, hoping they wouldn’t have a way to pursue her. Droids frightened her because every experience she has had with one so far had been less than pleasant.

The snow tunnels began to cave in, burying her in snow, Tk’e felt the snow force its way into her nose and mouth, she felt herself start to choke on the melting snow. She coughed loudly, grappling her way out of the snow tunnels, searching for the light of the sky.

Paired with The Force along with the girl's struggle and stress Sebastian would pick up on the strange being's presence within...the snow itself? Confused he'd rack his brain in an attempt to remember any stories or info he had heard about or read up on when it came to Hoth's fauna that might be docile, but stealthy. The Dark Lord to be sure wanted to think it was a Wampa, but considering it hadn't destroyed any of the droids yet, or him for that matter, left him almost sure that it wasn't...Then again he was reminded that Wampas were actually rather intelligent, arguably sentient albeit quite individualistic or rather solitary. Sebastian didn't fear this though, rather the challenge of fighting a mighty Wampa had his heart pounding in excitement.
But, this wasn't one, surely, it felt too..."small" so to say.
It would be at that point that Sebastian would use The Force in attempt to pull whatever it was up and out of the snow, holding it a couple of feet off of the ground, but no more. Left staring at some...thing, Sebastian would wonder what it was that he was staring at, some humanoid being, but it had horns, weird skin, strange eyes, looked gender neutral...
" Uhhh....Are you the anomaly? Ha...ha...hehh....What are you really though...."

Tk’e found herself pulled out of the ground, her horns now glowing several different colors. She gasped for air as she resurfaced from under the snow. She looked at Sebastian with both gratitude and embarrassment.

<“T-Thanks..”> She mumbled in her native tongue.

Tk’e took a closer look at Sebastian, her horns still a light show of colors, something felt… off about him. She just couldn’t place her finger on it. But she ignored all that the moment Sebastian started to sort of laugh at her, calling her an anomaly.

<“Hey! I am not an anomaly! I’m a Nordathooian-“> She cupped her hand over mouth, maybe she shouldn’t have said that, but yet again, he would have found out eventually. She now felt nervous about the situation, realizing she might have put herself in danger just now.

" A...what? A Nordietootsagain? A...I'm going to call you a Nord or maybe a Nordat...."

Pausing for a moment then Sebastian would take notice of the droids in the distance near the transport once more, reminding himself quickly that he'd be smart to inform the droids of their new...guest? Or was it the other way around?

" Ay', B1s, B2s...chill. I've found the anom....I've found the cause of the anomaly, it's a...Nord. They seem friendly enough, if I don't come back by time half of your battery lives run out then return to the CIS and let Azael know to move on with the plan accordingly. Until then, wait for me. "

Snapping his attention back then to the girl...or whatever it was Sebastian would nearly cough/choke as he realized he was still Telekinetically holding them off of the ground.

" Ahhh! Sorry! "

Setting them back down onto the snow he'd then talk a half step toward the strange glowing horned individual.

" I'm...Sebastian Ivar Kade, the droids at base say my blood tests positive for Raigithian Human DNA, supposed to be why I'm so long and lanky, heh aint that a pip?....What are you doing out here? How do you survive in this place without shelter? Hoth is a literal frozen wasteland, an icy Hell! "

She dusted herself off, shaking the snow out of her hair.
<“I’m Tk’e.”>
Sebastian then asked her how she was able to stand the frigid temperatures of Hoth in which she replied, <“I’m a snow Nordathooian! I love the cold!”>

She paused and then pointed to a nearby cave, <“I used to live in that cave with my Mama and Papa… before- “> She trailed off, not comfortable with telling them. Yet again, maybe he wouldn’t mind for it wasn’t uncommon for Nordathooian’s to have been iin some form of abusive situation.

<“Before I was taken and my parents were killed…”>

Having not noticed the cave before, nor had the B1 pilot before or upon their landing, Sebastian's attention would snap to where he was pointed in the direction of. Could the cave be what had been calling him? Or was it merely this...thing before him? This person as it were. And while the girl didn't finish her sentence about her parents the fact that she cut herself off lead the Acolyte to believe that something nefarious had happened, though he wouldn't prod due to respect. Yet, then came her next words, she outright told him her story in short. With his facial expression contorting into one of sympathy the man would bow his head a tad in an attempt to show further signs of respect.
" That's truly tragic, to have your life givers taken and now you're here on this desolate winter Hellhole...Hm, that cave, where does it lead to? "

<“The cave leads to where I grew up.. before I was taken.”>
She remembered the night, they had come out of nowhere and shot her parents to quiet the witnesses, stealing her off into the cold night to an even colder future. The feelings of hurt she had been forced to endure raced through her mind. The feeling of cold metal against her back, the warmth of blood on her tongue, the tightness in her throat after crying all night up until the morning. She would wake up her throat too sore to speak.

She shook the memories from her mind. This was no time to drag the Acolyte into her personal problems, knowing that if they were on Hoth, they had other things more important to do rather than pity her.

As the girl spoke, Sebastian was already lost in the sensation she was giving off within The Force. It screamed agony, suffering...pain. Fear too, but no...anger? At least nothing outright that he could pick up on.
" I can feel your pain and fear....Do you feel no anger towards those that have wronged you? No will to avenge the loss of your parents?...It can make you stronger. "
Glancing back at the cave then Sebastian would begin to set out, if the girl followed he'd benefit from a "friend" perhaps.
" I'd like to inspect this cave....Your home...Not to pry into your personal things, but I feel as if....As if there might be something more to your abode than you might know..."

<“ Papa always said it was better to not feel anger towards those who hurt us.”>

She began to lead them towards the cave. It was getting dark and she knew the temperature would drop to temperatures that even Sebastian and her would not survive in. She knew the quickest way to the cave. She would hate for him to end up a popsicle because of something so foolish. This plus the fact that Wampa’s were less likely to attack them if their were two of them. Her mother had taught her that the best way to scare off a wampa was to make yourself look bigger than them. This could easily be done if Sebastian would put her on his shoulders and they both waved their arms around. She explained this to him as they walked. She then continued to explain her philosophy.

<“All other negative feelings are fine to feel, but anger leads to violence; the same violence that is inflicted by those who hurt us.”>

<“And if we show that same anger and violence, then we are no better than those who hurt us.”>

She could remember when her father told her this. Some visitors to Hoth had been picking on her and throwing ice chunks at her, and just as Tk’e was about to throw one at them, her father stepped in. And after he had managed to scold the kids into cutting their behavior out, he told Tk’e that almost choosing to throw ice chunks back at them would have made her no better than them.

Following the girl faithfully as she led him to her home/the cave Sebastian would nonetheless remain on his toes, at the ready to cut down anyone or anything if need be at a moment's notice. Yet, when she spoke he couldn't help, but distract himself with his own thoughts on a reply.

" Don't take this the wrong way T'ke, but it's that kind of thinking that allows the true circle of violence to continue.

You allow an abuser to continue to abuse, then what stops their heavy hand from swinging? What stops a killer from killing if their victims never fight back? Just because you dish out equal violence does not make you a bad person, yes it can change you, but defending yourself against and stopping a murderer does not make you a serial killer. It doesn't make you a hero, but it does make you a vengeful spirit. Sometimes doing the right thing means doing what others consider the wrong thing.

But, if I knew I could stop a killer from going on to hurt more, then you can bet that I'll stop them in their tracks even if it costs me my soul. "

Shrugging Sebastian would then finally enter the cave, wherein he'd begin to extend his left hand away from himself, the palm of his hand lighting up as he used a controlled and sustained form of Force Flash to light up their path. Meanwhile his left hand would retrieve a small to medium device from the confines of his cloak, a sort of personal heater lamp that gave off another soft glow as well as warmth that would extend to two meters in an area around it. It wasn't enough to melt any of the surrounding ice or snow, but it would allow both Sebastian and T'ke warmth, warmth that left the Acolyte much more comfortable than he had been in the chilling cold. Exploring the cave would take a short time, but Sebastian wasn't settling for this, instead finding that he was drawn to retracing their steps, not once, but twice, then he was going back to only certain areas. Eventually stopping along a certain wall and placing his hand upon it....Something was indeed calling to him, but it was lost, no it was hidden...Nay, it had merely been frozen over.

BOOM.

In an instant the frozen wall would be blasted away as Sebastian used The Force via Telekinesis to shatter the obstacle ahead of him in one hefty blow. Drawing in a deep breath afterward the Acolyte would be left standing before a gaping hole that would lead to a snowy path that would descend into the bowels of the frozen planet.

Tk’e gasped as the wall broke down. As they descended downwards. Tk’e felt her eyes water up. The smell of rotting flesh filled her nose. They entered a chamber, Tk’e’s old living area. And there in the snow, partial frozen, were the bodies of her parents.

<“Mama….Papa…”> Tk’e began to sob violently, her horns started to glow a mixture of red and blue, casting its glow on the walls.

Even as they wandered onto the display Sebastian wouldn't realize they were looking at corpses until T'ke spoke up. Due to the severe cold and the bodies being preserved via freezing along with the fact that Sebastian was a Ragithian Human [a species differing only minutely physically due to the planet's unique gravity] and thus his sense of smell was that of a normal Human, unable to pick up on any stench. However once he realized what was piled up before him in the former living room the Acolyte would audible shudder, a chilled breath visibly escaping his lungs in the process.
" What...What....T'ke....Why are their bodies still here....."
Watching on as the girl's horns began to glow awkwardly he'd hesitantly reach his left hand to her shoulder/back as a means to comfort her without being too formal due to them having just met after all.
" T'ke...."
At this point of contact Sebastian would use Drain Knowledge on T'ke, reading her memories involving her life with her parents on Hoth. Following this he'd use this obtained knowledge to cast Force Illusions to distract the girl, attempting to stop her sobbing by filling her mind with very realistic replays of her beloved memories. Though as these scenes would unfold in her mind so would Sebastian ponder on how to act next, with whatever choice he made teetering on the precipice of risky. Reaffirming his grip on the lamp/heating-device in his hand Sebastian would then proceed to walk around the living quarters, hoping T'ke remained distracted by the Force Illusions playing out her memories.
Eventually finding a moderately, but still somewhat small, room Sebastian would then use The Force a third time, calling upon his skill in Telekinesis to levitate and move the bodies of T'ke deceased parents. Placing them within the room he'd then gently lower them until they were once more "resting" upon the frozen floor of the cave. Proceeding to then hurl the handheld heater at the corpses Sebastian would use Telekinesis once more, focusing his hatred on the device to cause it to violently explode before it ever came into contact with T'ke's parents. In this the device would explode in an energy-based fiery torrent. Spreading over the corpses as if it were a blanket of actual flames Sebastian would then begin to turn away from the event, using The Force finally to collapse chunks of stone and ice that would fill the gap of the entrance to the room. This would leave the bodies to ritualistically burn to ashes, resting forever in their former home now. And whether for the better or not Sebastian would have done it in attempt to "save" T'ke from her suffering.
Returning to the girl's side he'd seek to end his Force Illusions, speaking out to his new ally then.
" T'ke, wake up....You sort of passed out..."

Memories flooded her mind. Throwing icicles into the snow to see who could throw it the farthest, having her mother sing her to sleep every night, her father’s homemade dinner’s of tauntaun meat. She felt the love swirling around her, it was beautiful. But underneath it all, she could feel the weight of illusion taking its toll on her. It was draining. She sat there in a daze as Sebastian burned the bodies in a makeshift funeral pyre. Her stomach twisted and ached as the illusions grew stronger and more lifelike. But she knew they were lifeless but her brain wouldn’t listen.

She was snapped out of her daze. She turned to Sebastian, wiping tears from her eyes. She smelled the smoke of burning flesh. Almost immediately knowing what Sebastian had done. Her frightened expression softened into one of acceptance and gratitude. She wrapped her arms around him as a thank you. Nordathooian’s showed their gratitude through affection, often hugs.

Embraced with a hug by the strange alien girl the Dark Lord-to-be would instinctively hesitate before slowly bringing his arms around her to hug her back, the pair having bonded in a short time although due to sad circumstances. Separating after a short time though Sebastian's attention would once more be stolen, The Force calling to him again and thus driving him to walk around...searching. While he hadn't been able to sense the long deceased bodies of her parents he firmly believe that was not what had been calling to him in the first place, no...There was another shallow ice wall elsewhere. And as before Sebastian would raise his hand and use Telekinesis to send a violent Force Push into the wall of ice causing it to explode in the opposite direction.
It was in here that a long lost section of the cave system would be revealed, unknown even to those who had taken up residence just a shallow ice wall away...Inside was very little other than more icy walls, a ceiling full of icicle stalagmites, and a snow covered floor. However in four different spots were notable pillars of ice and rock, some sections sporting glowing blue crystals. Unbeknownst to the pair they were Hoth's famous, rare, and not well known Permafrost crystals, the latter being capable of being used as a lightsaber's focusing crystal. Despite the event that had just unfolded elsewhere in the cave, having put T'ke parents to rest finally, Sebastian was equally struck in aw/shock now as he gazed upon the clutches of what he knew had to be crystals capable of being used in lightsaber building, something the Acolyte was on a journey to complete for his own...reasons.
Stomping his way through the snow then Sebastian would keep his hands low until he came upon the nearest pillar, turning to T'ke then for a moment the Acolyte would pause momentarily. In another instant his gaze would snap back to the pillar only for him to then leap toward it while using a Force Jump. Grunting as he hit the pillar and fought to maintain a perch along its length Sebastian would then be swift to swipe two small pieces from the crystal clutch just within his reach. Once more using Force Jump Sebastian would then land near T'ke with a near silent thud thanks to the snow, though there was an audible crunch. Rising from his crouched position Sebastian would then bring his hands together before extending his left toward T'ke, turning it over and opening it to reveal that he had grabbed an additional crystal for her. The Dark Lord-to-be never did learn the ability to track Force Sensitives, but he didn't care as he knew that wielding a lightsaber was still possible with proper training, along with this and despite what many assumed, some lightsaber crystals could also be used in the likes of blaster technology. Regardless the crystal was a gift for his ally...his new friend.
" This....This is what drew me here T'ke...But, along the way I met you and down the path it brought me I was able to help you settle you past. Let me gift this to you my friend, perhaps you can use it in a weapon one wherein you might defend yourself and your loved ones. I believe in dealing equal karma, but no one says you have to use your weapons to kill, sometimes bringing your enemies to justice is enough, imprisonment even better. But, stealing shouldn't equate to a death sentence....But, if someone killed my friends parents I ensure you, I would be the hands of justice....

T'ke, would you come with me off of Hoth now? Would you allow me to train you to defend yourself and your loved ones? "
Sebastian would of course leave out the fact that he was an Acolyte in the Confederacy of Independent Systems although his transport and droid escort essentially gave it away.

Tk’e was shocked. She hadn’t even know those crystals were there. She was aghast at how pretty they looked, and that’s what she liked about them; they were pretty.

Sebastian extended a Crystal towards her. Tk’e grabbed it carefully, her horns glowed several colors once more. She rubbed her finger over its smooth yet jagged surface.

Upon hearing Sebastian’s offer, she paused. “train her to defend herself and her loved ones?” Her mind flashed back to something that had been told to her whilst in captivity.

How pathetic… You really think that someone as small and helpless as yourself could hurt me?”
Tk’e remebered being let go of by her wrists, and falling to a cold tiled floor. A shadow covering her quivering form.
“Have you ever wondered why you out of all exotic species in the galaxy were targeted by so many people?”
She felt overwhelmed by the memory of cigarette smoke that tainted the breath of her captor, it wafting into her face.
“It’s because of your species inability to defend itself. It’s because your big hearts have no place in a galaxy where kindness is nobody’s top priority.”

Tk’e re-emerged from the memory, she could feel her fists clenched tightly around the Crystal, small cracks had started to form in it. She loosened her grip, shaking slightly at the strange burning sensation she felt in her chest as it slowly worked its way up to her face. She turned to Sebastian, unaware of the possible world of trouble she was about to get herself into, and nodded in agreement.

" Then let us take our destinies and accept our future fates, no longer victims to this galaxy's chaos. "
Leading the way back out of the cave Sebastian would be mindful to warn the droids he was returning to the transport with new company. However he would pause as they came to the chamber that led to the room he had closed off with a small cave in after setting her parents bodies aflame. Taking the time to turn in its direction the Dark Lord-to-be would bow toward the area before standing back up and placing a hand on T'ke's shoulder before then heading out of the cave finally. Drilling a path along the snow for T'ke to follow Sebastian would be thankful that they were finally leaving the frigid cold planet, but also that he had unintentionally obtained an...Apprentice?! Once on the transport and followed by the droid company the group would ascend into orbit before locating their hyperspace route to leave.
