It had been months since Tk’e escaped, but things hadn’t gone as planned. She thought everything that had happened over in her head as she sat in a dark alley of the lower levels of Coruscant.
She sniffed back tears, pulling at the metal tag on her ear, anxiously. She was cold, dirt and grease covered, and hungry.
Her small leather carrier sack sat next to her, her staff made out of a discarded scaffolding rod leaned against it.
Despite her laid back sitting position, Tk’e’s ears pricked up and down, listening for anyone trying to sneak towards her, or anyone coming towards the alley.
Her jaw was aching for something to sink her teeth into, yearning for something to eat, even if it was a crumb of stale bread, anything! The sound of her stomach rumbling was nothing but a unheard sound in the bustling crime ridden level, only felt by her. She felt tears poke at the corner of her eyes, slowing sliding down her cheeks.
She knew it was only a matter of time until she was found again, for better or for worse.
